Momo was sitting in her apartment with a bottle of wine by her side and a glass in her hand. She had the lights dimmed, as she took a sip.

"I should be a cat lady," she mumbled, petting her pet kitten Peaches. "You are the only one that understand me." Momo sighed, as she finished up the glass. She set the glass down and lie on the couch.

Momo had never had good luck in relationship. All her past relationship has been failure, because of her status. She isn't rich that's for sure. She is one that works her way from the bottom to where she is at. They will ask her out on a date, but once they find out she isn't at their status, they dump her and never talk to her again.

Momo sat back up and pour another glass of wine. She thought this relationship would be different. Byun Baekhyun, one of the hottest guys on campus. They were in the same cooking class and partners. He was from a rich family who owns like companies in the country. She told him in advance she isn't rich. He didn't care, as he still wanted to date her. They have been together for six months and then it was time to meet the parents. It went horrible, as his parents did not approve of her because she isn't rich. Why does everyone worry about money? When he ask for a break, she knew it was about her status.

Momo was alone in the world, as her parents died three years old. She only has her kitty, Peaches. Momo does have acquaintances, but they are rich. She avoids people like the plague. She only have to interact with them if it's involved school. It's at work she does have friends at her status level: Chaeyoung, Chan, and Youngjae. They are all siblings, living in a decent area like she did. Their family owns the restaurant Momo works at and they are friendly.

Momo shot the wine down her throat without missing a beat and put the glass down. She looked at the bottle to see it was almost empty. She only been drinking since 7 this morning and it was almost 2 am.

"My life is like a damn drama," she said, thinking about her relationship with Baekhyun.

"Go out with me," he asked her, after class. Momo just looked at him like he had three heads.

"Sorry but I'm not interested," she replied, trying to walk away, but he grabbed her wrist to make her stop.

"But I am interest," Baekhyun answered her. Momo shook her wrist to get free and turn to him.

"I'm going to tell you that you are just wasting your time. I'm not at your level. I'm poor and you're rich." Baekhyun looked at her and just smile.

"So status is just a thing in the past."

"Not to everyone. Look you will be wasting your time." She was about to leave, as Baekhyun stopped her.

"I will make that decision. Meet me tomorrow night at 6 pm at Lee's Cafe. If you aren't there, I will hunt you down," he said, as Baekhyun gave her a kiss on the cheek and left. Momo sighed, as she neither have to go or he will find her. She decide to not go and meet him. It will save the trouble.

Momo finished the wine and sighed. She needs to get more and at least she was close to a store like three building down. She got her coat on, stumbled a bit. She slipped on her shoes and smile at Peaches.

"I will be back." She exited the apartment and walked over to the store. Lucky it was a 24 hours store. She got her bottle of wine and thought about how Baekhyun came to her job because she didn't show up for their date.

"Good job together everyone," said Youngjae, as everyone was cleaning up for the night. The door open in the front of the restaurant. "We are close come again tomorrow."

"I'm here for Momo." Momo nearly drop the dirty dishes in her hands, as she turned to see Baekhyun standing there with a smirk.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, as he walked over to her.

"Didn't I tell you, I would hunt you down if you didn't show up," he said, as Momo sighed.

"Look, I'm saving you the trouble," she said, going to the kitchen. Baekhyun followed her, as she hand the dishes to Chan. Chan eyes Baekhyun, as Momo waves Chan away. She moved back out the kitchen to continue cleaning, as Baekhyun was following her like a puppy dog. "Look go home and forgot about it okay?"

"But I don't want to forget about you," he said, making her turn around and taking both her hands into his. The siblings went into the kitchen and watch from the little window to give them some privacy. "You got to let me make my own decision. I told you I don't care about status! I like you for you!"

Momo looked at him in surprise, as Chaeyoung awed.

"It's so cute like an actual real drama." Youngjae and Chan pushes her head down so she can't watch.

"But..."

"Just give me a chance to show you I'm not like everyone with money. I am human as well."

Momo sighed, as she paid for the wine and head back to her apartment. She already can taste the wine, as she heard a car driving by her. Momo looked up at the car, as she didn't have time to react, as she heard two bangs. She looked down to see blood on her stomach. The car drove off, as she fell to the ground with a thump. The store manager saw her fell and call for law enforcement and paramedics.

The wine bottle broke in the bag, as she gasped for air. Was this her punishment for being poor? She didn't realize someone turn her over and applying pressure to her wounds.

"Momo, please stay with me," she knew that voice, as she opened her eyes to see Baekhyun, trying not to cry and putting pressure on her wounds. "This isn't how I wanted this to happen. I told my parents I chose you and they weren't happy. I didn't think they would have gone this far to send someone to hurt you. I found out their plans and call law enforcement. I hurry as fast as I could to get to you, but I was too slow." He leaned down and kissed her lips. "Please Princess hold on for me. I want us to be together. I love you."

Momo placed her bloody hand on his cheek to let him know she was still here.

"Baekhyun..." she replied, as she cough up some blood. Baekhyun hushed her and continue to hold pressure. "...I love you too..."

"Save your strength, Princess." Momo closed her eyes, as he held her hand and waited for the paramedics to arrive. He did not want to lose her because of his damn parents. He will make sure they get everything coming to them for hurting his Princess. They did, as he begged them to save her. "Please, she is all I have left."

"We will do the best we can."
