Shownu woke up, as he grunted a bit. It was too early to start the day, as he turned his head to see a sight. His lovely girlfriend of two years, Hirai Momo was sleeping by his side, with her hand on his chest. She smiled in her sleep, as he pushed some of her hair back. He smiled at his Princess, pulling her close to him. He brushed his hand against the scar on her left cheek. She continued to sleep, as he though back to a day he never wanted to relive ever again.

"You look beautiful, Princess," he said, as he ran into Momo backstage. She was getting ready to perform at the award show with her group. He snaked his arms around her and gave her a quick kiss.

"Thank you handsome," she replied to him. "I'm just a little nervous that's all."

"You are going to be amazing out there. After all, you are the dancing machine of Twice. Also my dancing machine as well." Momo giggled at him, as he placed a kiss on her left cheek.

"All right Papa bear," Momo joked with him. "Save some of that energy for tonight after the show." He rested his forehead against hers and gave her one final kiss.

"I love you Momo. Really truly I love you," he whispered to her. "As long as my heart beats, I will love you." Momo sniffed a bit, trying to keep her emotions in check.

"Why do you have to be romantic before I have to go on stage?" She complained, as he chuckled at her. "I love you too Hyunwoo."

"Oh using my name, you know I love that. Sounds so sexy coming out of your lips," he teased her, as her cheeks were turning red. "You are going to do great. Remember this, I love you no matter what."

"I swear you are so cheesy, but I love you as well." They shared one last kiss, before Shownu went back to the audience to join his members.

Twice just finishing 'Cheer Up' as they were about to start 'TT'. Momo was in front, as she did not realized she was so close to the fireworks. Now the fireworks weren't to go off until after they finish 'TT', but the person running them did not get that memo. He just heard the song ending, as he got the fireworks ready. Momo was leaning over doing the intro dance, as the fireworks went off in front of her face. Momo let out a scream before falling to the ground, covering her face. Everything stopped, as Shownu jumped into action to get to his girlfriend. His members tried to stopped him, but he was already on stage and kneeling to Momo.

"Princess, can you hear me?" He called to her, but she was in too much pain to pay attention. He tried to calm her down, by leaning over her body. "Princess, I'm here." His heart was breaking to hear her crying, as medics hurried to her aid. Momo was moving too much to let them touch her. Shownu has to hold her down, as the medic had to injected her to sedated her. He felt terrible to do this, but she needs help. The medic turned her over and removed her hand to see the damage on her left face. She did get burn, as Momo was having a hard time to open her left eye.

"Hyunwoo...." she softly cried out, as he took her hand into his. She could open her right eye, as she let out soft cries now. "Where are you..."

"Princess I'm right here," he said, bringing her hand to his cheek and letting it rest there. Momo was able to turn her head to see him out of her right eye. "We are going to get you to the hospital right now." Momo stroked his cheek, as her left side was covered so nobody could see the damage. He needs to stay calm, but it is so damn hard when your love is hurting so much.

Shownu and the two group were waiting for Momo to get out of surgery. Momo has been wheeled into surgery as soon she arrived to the hospital. She has been there for four hours and each minute is killing him. Everyone fell asleep in the waiting room but him. Chaeyoung was sleeping in his arms, as she was having a tough time with her best friend being injury. She did tell Shownu when they arrived, she got a glimpse of Momo's burns on her face. It scares her that the fireworks could have damage her hearing and sight on her left side, Momo could go deaf and blind on her left side. He assures her the doctors are doing their best for Momo, but in reality he has the same fears as Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung cried herself to sleep, as Shownu watched the light to go off.
