"I can't wait to go home for Christmas," said Minho to his friend. "I get three days off to hang out with my friends, family, and my girlfriend." Minho has spoke to Momo about what they are going to do for Christmas and they want to have a simple Christmas Day. This would be their first time actually being together since he went in the military.

"I'm happy for you," he said, as a commander came in the room.

"We are short soliders and some of you have to stay for the holiday to make up," he said, reading names off the list, who is staying on base. "...and Choi Minho. You will get your vacation after the holidays." The commander left before anyone could reply.

"Damn it!" Minho said, standing up. "How am I going to tell Momo? She has been excited for me to come home for Christmas." Momo has told her plan to him on the phone, how she has the tree done, presents under the tree, cooking his favorite meal, and enjoy each other company. "She is going to be heartbroken."

"I would trade with you, but it's my daughter's first Christmas," his friend told him.

"No it's fine, I just have to explain to her. I know she will understand." He hopes she will understand.

Momo was finishing decorating the living room when her phone went off. She picked it up, as it was Minho calling her. She got a smile on his face, as she answer the phone.

"Hey love, I can't wait to see you in a few days. You are going to line how I did the apartment," she said to him. Minho let out a huge sigh, as Momo figure out it was something bad. "What's wrong Minho?"

"My commander had told some of us had to stay behind and I was one of them. I'm sorry but I won't be coming home for Christmas." Momo was sad, as she sat down on the couch. "I know you plan so much for us. I'm trying to ask other soldiers to trade with me."

"Minho, it's all right. We can celebrate when you get another leave," Momo told him. "We can't go against the military."

"Princess, I promise to make this up to you. At least go to my parents home for dinner. I don't want you to be alone."

"I already have plan to go there," she told him. "Your mother insist I come with or without you. We will miss you there."

"I'm so sorry and Momo...I love you so much."

"I love you too, be safe and I will see you when you have your next leave." She hung up and sighed. "Just one day was all I ask, but I can't go against them."

Minho sighed to himself, as he felt like a villain. He knows Momo is hurt, but he can't go against the military order. He vowed to make it up to her.

"Thank you Momo for going shopping with me," said Minho's mother, as they were finishing up the last of their shopping.

"It's no problem," Momo said, holding some bags in her hands. "It is keeping me busy." Minho's mother took her hand and smile.

"I know it's terrible Minho isn't coming home for Christmas. His father and I were excited for him to come over with you for dinner." Momo smiled, as she did wish he was coming home. "Come, let head on home to get dinner ready." Momo nodded, as they started to walk. They heard some screaming, as they look up to see a car was out of control and heading to the crowd of people. Momo and his mother were in the crowd. Momo was able to get her out of safety, before she was struck by the car. Many people were struck by the car before it crash into a building.

"Momo dear," called his mother, going to the fallen idol on the ground. Momo gasped in pain, as she couldn't move her leg. "It's all right, we are going to get you help. Does anything else hurt?"

"My hip and my arm," she said. "The car didn't hit me hard, but still enough." His mother stroke her hair, as help was on their way.

"Well you are going to stay with us until you are heal all right? Minho would not want you alone with your injury." Momo nodded to her. "We will call and tell Minho later, right now you need help."

Minho sighed in relief, as he was standing in front of his parents' home on Christmas' Eve. He was able to get his leave switched and come home. He knew Momo would be here for dinner and wanted to surprise her. He was able to change clothes before getting to the home. With his bag in his hand, he went up to the door and rang the doorbell. His mother answer the door to see him standing there.

"Oh my little Minho, you came," she said, hugging him.

"I was able to come," he said, as he returned the hug. His father came to the door and hugged him. "Is Momo here?"

"Yes, she is here, but you got to know something," his mother said. "There was an accident a few days ago."

"What accident? Are both of you all right? Is Momo all right?" He was getting worry, as he was checking his parents.

"Minho, your father and I are fine. Momo did get hurt, but she is doing better. Come." Minho entered the home, setting his bag and shoes to the side. "She is in the living room." Minho slowly walked to the living room and saw Momo lying on the couch with her right leg up in a cast. She does have a brace on her right wrist, as she was sleeping. Minho slowly walked over to her and kissed her on the forehead. He was thinking it was worse. Momo flinched a bit and slowly open her eyes.

"Hey Princess," he said, taking her good hand and rubbing it with his thumb. "How are you feeling?" Momo smiled at him, before she closed her eyes.

"I'm all right..." she realized who she was talking too, as she opened her eyes again. "What are you doing here? I thought you couldn't come."

"I was able to switch. I did not expect my girlfriend here with a broken leg," he said, joining her on the couch. Momo snuggled close to him, as he kissed her on the cheek.

"I was not going to have the car hit your mother. It's not serious, just a broken leg, bruised hip, and sprang wrist," she told him.

"Thank you for protecting my mother," he said, as he rubbed her arm up and down. "I'm sure they are caring for you."

"Yeah I haven't been home since the accident."

"Good you need to stay here until you can walk again," Minho turned Momo's head to him. "If anything did happen to you, I would never forgive myself. You are my life."

"Oh Minho, soon you will be out and we can be together once again." Minho leaned down and kiss her.

"I love you Princess."

"And I love you too my love." Minho let Momo cuddled him, as he kept a hold on her. Even though she did break her leg, she is alive and with him and his family. He might have to wait and ask her the question once she is healed. She might try to jump on him and a cast hurts.
