Luke was upstairs singing in the shower. nothing different. i just listened to his voice and the water running. he showers alot for a guy. i never knew he could sing. im skipping dinner tonight. my anxiety washed over me. what is the damned surprise? he walks into the living room wearing a strange shirt of a band i have never heard of before. "5sos?" i say with and eyebrow raised. "yeah they kinda suck" he said reaching behind his head to stretch

we got in the car and he started humming along with the unknown song he was singing in the shower. his voice hitting every riff and every note.

he throws a red bandana at me

"put this around your face"

"well, im ugly but you didnt have to say that, god you meanie" i giggle

i put the bandana around my eyes so i can only see my feet barely touching the car floor

i bounce my leg along with luke's humming

the car comes to a sharp stop i hold onto the car door handle to stop myself from flying forward. luke may have failed his drivers test a few times, or 6. he opens my car door and takes my hand leading me into the darkness. oh wait. im wearing a blindfold.

a garage door opens and he tears off the blindfold

"HEY AURI" 3 other guys say in unison im shocked. my boyfriend is in a band. a band. a band. a band. i cupped my hand over my mouth. all of them smile.

"Auri, this is calum", he points to a black haired guy holding a bass, "micheal" he says pointing to a crazy haired guitar player, "and ashton" he says pointing to a curly haired boy behind a drumset.

they all run up and hug me

"aye, shes mine"

"shes too hot for you" says the crazy haired one

"shut up micheal" he glares back

i blush

i sit cross legged on the concrete floor

i watch them practice a song called "voodoo doll" micheal screams his part and calum is quiet and high voiced. ashton just drums and luke.well luke.. hes perfect. i laugh uncontrolably when micheal gets up and dances still screaming his part.

i listen to the melody and stare into lukes blue eyes

FLASHBACK-

"please dont hurt me"

he smacks me across the face

i hold where his hand hit me. my face tingled

"shut the fuck up you useless waste of skin"

he screams in my ear i hold my hands to my head trying to drown out the sound.

He hits me again.
END OF FLASHBACK~

"auri?" Luke says in a calming voice

I look up and all the boys are staring at me. The song must have ended a while ago.

I sit there my hands against my ears.
"Was it really that bad?" Calum says disappointed

"No- Luke, you're perfect,  I mean it was perfect. I mean your perfect too but I mean. The song it was perfect also.."
He just smiles at me as a talk

"You know you're adorable"
He smiles

"We need to practice doofus" Michael smirks

"DOES YOUR MOUTH EVER SHUT UP"

Micheal just shakes his head
And my mind wanders off into the Hell that is my memory as the first guitar riff begins.
