Luke's POV

~

Auri walked around in my old oversized static grey crewneck, I never wore that thing. But it looked SO adorable on her. Her long blonde hair was pulled into a messy bun.  She walked around wearing pajama shorts that didn't peek through the bottom of the sweater, she walked shuffling her feet into the kitchen,v the sun was setting casting a shadow over her face. She wore only mascara her eyes a bright hazel.

I couldn't keep my eyes off of her and I think she was getting creeped out judging by the way her eyebrow flicked when she looked back at me.

"I'm hungrrryyyy" she whined crossing her arms sliding down the cupboard landing on the floor pouting. She got up and opened the fridge. Her eyes widened.  "YOU HAVE COOKIE DOUGH AND YOU DIDNT FUCKING TELL ME" she raised an eyebrow.  "I just bought it...Auri you need to eat something." I said fumbling with a spoon that had been left on the mall island in the center of the kitchen.  "I'm fine. I eat all the time." She scoffed. She took a spoon of the cookie dough, and another, and another, until half the carton was gone.

I grabbed a spoon and ate the other half.  Other half. My other half. I put my arm around Auri and we walked over to the television, with 4 stacks of Oreos this time. "What should we watch, I need something to watch while I eat. You know this" she giggles. I chuckle back. "OOOH. MEAN GIRLS" I yell clapping my hands.  She rolled her eyes playfully and clicks play. We snuggle up onto the small couch with a blanket as I feel her warm breath on my neck and we put all our attention to the movie that I could quote word for word.

I wake up to Auri sound asleep on my stomach, the credits to the movie roll, I must have had the movie on repeat because it is 7:27 in the morning. I open all the Windows letting in fresh summery fall air. Birds still chirp and a nearby train blares. Auri wakes up using her arms to push up her petite body.  She rubbed her eyes.  "FUCK" she yelled. "What happened? !?" I shifted my gaze to Auri who had mascara all over her cheeks. She just pointed to all the smudges.  "I forgot it was theeeerrree"  I walk over to the kitchen sink with a q tip and dampen it. We sit criss cross facing each other while I wipe the smudged mascara off. She smiles kissing me on the cheek.

"You're the only one keeping me sane." She blurted.  "Huh?" I raised an eyebrow.

"My mind was trapped, inside all these memories that should have escaped years ago. Its like you opened the cage and let all my worries go."

I intertwined my fingers with hers. She soon leg go to put her hair back into a messy bun.

She walked into the kitchen and started making tea.  "Want some? " she asked while she filled the kettle with water. "I'll have coffee, I'm tired from watching the movie last night" she nodded imItating her throwing up.  She hates coffee.

A few minutes later she came back with a mug filled with tea, and a mug filled with coffee. She handed it to me smiling as the sunlight hit her face perfectly. She sat on the couch next to me and we watched a blank screen and the sunrise
