I passed out sleeping a minute after my parents left. luke was still here and had stayed the night at the hospital. when I woke up he was sound asleep on the chair next to my hospital bed. His blonde spiked hair covering his eyes and his neck kinked in an uncomfortable way.

I decided to let him sleep. the nurse walked in, waking up Luke. She handed ME a small carton of milk and a dry hospital turkey sandwich, and a bag of cheetos and some water to Dani.

the doctor walked in right when I was about to take a bite at the hospital sandwich. "I have good news"

ME and Lukes heads popped up. "yea?" luke said raising an eyebrow. "you are going home today, in about 2 hours" I squealed. I tried to get up but the doctor stopped me. "so your brain can catch up you will have to be in a wheelchair until you get to your house.

the doctor sat me up and Luks picked me up and carefully sat me in a wheelchair. to be honest I was quite comfortable in my oversized green day shirt that Luke gave me. He picked up my huge embarrassing pikachu slippers and slid them on my feet.

he finally got up and wheeled me and my IV chord out to my parents. they detached me from the IV and gave me some meds.

Luke rolled me out to my parents black SUV and carried me laying me in the backseat. he sat down setting ny head on his lap and stroking my hair.

when I got home I was already sound asleep, Luke muST have carried me onto my couch and managed to take off my shoes and lay my comforter on top of me.

when I woke up Luke was there making breakfast. I knee he didn't spend the night because he was wearing a fresh change of clothes and his black hair was still wet from a shower.

"morning sunshine" He said smiling. I groaned. I didn't want to get up. but I managed to sit up and have Luke walk me over tO the bathroom so I could shower. I had a hard time getting on my shorts because every time I bent down I got a throbbing headache.

I still had scars on my legs and all up my arms and neck, along with stitches across my temple and lip. once I was dressed with my messybun up and makeup on point I took Luke's arm again and sat back down on the couch.

"what exactly happened" I asked. "when you ran backwards. the car that hit you didn't see you. the bastard was texting. his windshield shattered but he kept going. eventually the police found him AND sentenced him to 8 years in prison with a bail of 50,000$. after he hit you I ran over completely Spazzing out. I called 911. you had glass in your face and arms. and Brooke just stood there."

I started crying. Luke held me and rocked me in his arms. "it was the worst day of my life" He whispered holding me tighter. For a moment we just looked at each other in the eyes. his eyes were bright blue. absolutely adorable. he wiped a tear from my cheek and I hugged him again.
