So, I want to tell you guys a story.
A while back, I was in Pony Club (a horse back riding club for competing). While in the club, I hung out with the wrong people who didn't really support me. I'm not throwing shade but they weren't the nicest girls and I don't think they really liked me because I was a decent person. Anyways, I met this girl, a few years younger than me, eleven. She got picked on in Pony Club because she has anxiety and doesn't really know how to deal with it. I could relate with her and just said "hello". It was one of the best descisions of my life. We began talking even though I got judged by the other girls for it but I didn't care, she needed someone and I was gonna be there for her. All it took was for me to say hello to help someone out. My mom and her mom talk a lot and her mom told mine a lot about how I've impacted her. I've apparently made her excited to go to meetings and be herself rather than concealing who she really is just so she doesn't get judged. Also, I recently received these messages from her:
I really didn't know what to say... I've never been told any of that before. Its amazing that the small things are what can change a person's life and in this case, it was for the better. Because of her words to me, it makes me want to die less. I've lived my life without someone telling me that and I'm just amazed at how it makes you feel inside.
Because of this girl, because of her impact on me, I want to start something. If you see someone off to themselves, say hi... you may change a life. Also, find someone in your contacts that you've lost touch with, tell them hello.
In honor of her, I want to let you all know that you all are amazing and are the best! Remember...
Love you all,
Stay strong,
Don't give up!
