I threw all the money I had in my pocket at the driver and ran into my house, well crutched as fast as I could. I practically crawled up stairs and curled up in a ball on my bed. It felt as if someone had slapped me across the face, but this also must be what it feels like when you lose someone. Heartbreak must be what it feels like to have open heart surgery done with out anaesthetic. After an hour of crying I decided that if I was such a burden to Justin he didn’t deserve my tears. But I needed to cheer myself up. Pronto.

I got sweatpants on, pulled my hair up and put the hangover in. I ordered pizza and when I t was all set up I called Demi.

‘Sup Hoe’ she giggled.

‘Oh not much Beeyatch, I just kinda maybe broke up with Justin’ I said softly.

‘Shut the fudge up! What happened honey?’

‘Well we went to visit my Dad’s new family, they asked me to come visit every weekend and I said no, but only because he treats them as his prized family and me as if I never existed!’

‘understandable, go on.’

‘so I said no, he said I was rude and it basically came down to, you need a family, I’m the only one taking care of you, you’re just a burden’ I sniffed, oh Christ here come the tears.

‘He called you a burden!?’ she shouted down to me.

‘well no, but I’m pretty sure that’s how he meant it.’ I cried. ‘so threw his stupid necklace at him and stormed off home.’

‘Honey, you want me to come up there, cheer you up?’

‘no, no you have a busy schedule, a phone call will suffice’ I smiled.

‘fine but do you want me to come up there and rip his stupid little head off?’ she laughed.

‘tempting, but no’ I laughed back, ‘despite everything said, I didn’t mean any of it, I still care about him and that’s why it hurt so much’

‘you’re preaching sister’ she laughed. ‘Oh shit, honey I need to go I’m so sorry’ she sounded apologetic, I could hear cheering in the background.

‘Demi are you about to go on stage?’ I laughed.

‘Well yeah, but I can stay and talk for a little longer if you want?’

‘Demi! Go on stage, have fun and I’ll text you later’ I laughed

‘Okay bye!’ she shouted and hung up.

I smiled as I settled down to watch the hangover with my pizza. Wow this was sad, a couple days a go I was in Atlanta partying with my boyfriend and now look at me, I was left with out my best friends or my boyfriend. On that happy note I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning at 12. I got up and made myself some cereal. I sat at the dining room table, it was silent. I turned on the radio and who just happened to be on? Justin. Fucking. Bieber. I switched channels and found better stuff to listen to. As I sat dancing to I like big Butts I thought about my situation. I had no friends up here, not even any family. What was I going to do? I groaned as I hit my head off of the table. What was his problem! It was my family! My dad that didn’t acknowledge me as his daughter. I was about to grab my bat and go smash up our stupid old tree house when the phone rang. Someone cared.

I ran and grabbed the phone.

‘Hiya’ I smiled. Why was I smiling they couldn’t see me.

‘hey is this Molly Fraser?’ a male voice asked.

‘Sure is!’ I grinned, I gotta stop doing that.

‘Awesome! Now this sounds awfully last minute but I’m scooter, Justin’s manager and we have decided to do a sort of spontaneous tour of concerts, now tickets are already selling out and we want you to be Justin’s warm up.’

I almost crushed the phone with my hand. ‘No.’

Scooter sounded hurt, ‘No? you realise you’re getting the chance of a lifetime right? These chances don’t come often.’

It sounded awesome, apart from the Justin part. ‘You’ll get your own bus, it’s a world tour you know, you’ll get to see the sights of the world, all expenses paid, plus a salary most high court lawyers would be jealous of’

I thought it over, fuck it. ‘Alright, I’m there!’

‘Oh thank god you said yes! We’re just dying to have you onboard there’s a real buzz going round about you. Now obviously you don’t have any songs so we want to focus on you doing two songs and a big dance routine, we understand you took cheerleading for 7 years as a child?’

I laughed how did they know that? ‘yeah I did! I won 7 gold medals’ I smiled proudly.

‘awesome, well we’re going to have you doing a routine with lifts and throws something really impressive, but we’ll work it around your ankle. Also the two songs you’ll be singing are Impossible by Shontelle and Use Somebody the Pixie Lott version.’

I smiled, they were awesome songs. ‘Sounds amazing!’

‘okay, here’s the tough part, the first show is tonight, it’s in your home town, but you still have a lot to do. We’ll organise someone to pack all your stuff and a car should be at yours in 10, see you at the show tonight!’ he laughed.

‘Scooter, wait!’ I shouted before he could hang up, I guess he hadn’t heard about me and Justin.

‘Hey um, don’t tell Justin, I want this to be a surprise’ I laughed, boy was he gonna get a surprise alright.

‘okay cool, now get dressed Fraser! You have rehearsal in 5 minutes!’ he laughed and hung up. I grabbed my pain killers from the cupboard and took them, I had a feeling I was going to need them for today. I went up stairs grabbed a dress to wear to the show, my make up, deodorant and put some comfy loose clothes on for dancing.

I got to the venue and I had a group of back up dancers and a choreographer just waiting for me. We got a routine ready, in mainly consisted of them dancing around me, we had one lift put in for during impossible but the rest was me just basically using the stage to its full potential. I practiced the song with a voice coach til it was perfect and all too soon they were adding the final touch ups to my hair and make up, I had my dress and heels on and the crowd was cheering. And the were cheering for me.

I got my microphone out and crouched down on the little lift waiting for it to pop up so I could start. I wasn’t nervous., just excited.

‘Molly?’ I looked over to see Justin he looked hurt.

I just stared at him, the same look of hurt in my eyes, it had only been a day but I missed him. But I couldn’t we were over. I dismissed his look, stared forward, plastered a smile on my face and stood up at the crowd cheered and the lift went up.
