That can’t be right. We’re best friends, basically brother and sister. So this was basically .. Like incest. Ew. As I stared him in the eyes I didn’t even notice Caitlin rush out crying. Haha! Bitch had it coming. We just stood staring. Well that was weird. I mean I thought I liked him but when he kissed me there was no butterflies. No sparks. But when he smiled at me, there were all the signs. Oh what the fuck?! How am I so messed up. I still didn’t break my gaze. When I look at him and think about us being together its scary and intimidating, I mean if it ended badly, there was no way we would be as close. No way at all. But when I looked at him my stomach flipped, and when he smiles at me I literally melt. Who am I kidding, he doesn’t like me back. I mean he’s got the likes of Kendall Kardashian, Kim Kardashian and about 5 million gorgeous girls throwing themselves at him. Uh uh, I’m not putting my neck on the line to be knocked back, not only would that bring me down, it would make our friendship awkward. I didn’t even know if he liked me back. Fuck that. I’m a big girl and I can get over him. Still we just stood there and stared at each other.

He broke the tension and let go of me, taking my hand and shaking it. ‘Good show, you know I think she really fell for it’ He laughed. ‘can you believe she actually thought we were a couple?’ he was laughing almost hysterically now, weirdo. Its not that funny. ‘ That is classic!’

He only stopped laughing when his phone rang. I tried to listen in on his conversation as we both sat down on the couch, suitably sat on our own sides this time, but I could only hear what he was saying.

‘ Oh Whats Up Scooter? ….. Yeah … No way!’ he grinned, ‘tonight?! …. Awesome .. Yeah of course she’ll be there’ wait was he talking about me?, ‘no I don’t need to ask her! … uh huh, and if she runs away she’s not gonna get very far with that cast on’ he laughed, yupp definitely about me, ’trust me, she’ll be there! When is it? … that’s only like 2 hours from now! … of course I’ll make it in time, I don’t let my fans down .. Okay, see you then man’ he hung up and turned to me smiling eagerly.

‘guess what we’re doing tonight?’ still with that smile on his face, it scared me how excited he was.

Well it definitely wasn’t movie and a pizza, ‘urm we’re gonna go out to eat?’ I asked shrugging my shoulders asking with hope in my voice.

‘Nope! Something way better!’ the smile was growing, how did it get bigger?!

‘okay, there’s a whole world of possibilities, so I’m gonna take a stab in the dark based on what I heard you say and guess thaaat … we are going to do something that you are really excited about, but you know I’m not gonna want to do so your probably gonna have to throw me over your shoulder and make me?’ I smiled half heartedly.

He stood up, grabbed my hands and pulled me to my feet. ‘Spot on!’ he laughed, ‘tonight, there’s a free concert and we’re expecting 40,000 fans to come!’ he grinned .

‘Wow that’s amazing!’ I smiled, I was genuinely excited for him. ‘buut where do I come into all of this?’ I screwed my face up in confusion.

He lifted me up over his shoulder and started to walk up the stairs. ‘Because …. The free concert is to premiere my new song .. The one that just happens to be my duet with you’ He grinned hopefully as he threw me onto my bed and quickly ran out of the door closing it behind him. The kid was smart. I was about to blow up. I crutched my way over to the door and tried to open it. Dammit he as holding the other side.

‘Justin! Open this door now!’ I shouted through.

He laughed, ‘I’m afraid I can’t do that right now, anything you wish to say, you can say in that room with the door closed .... that way you can’t hurt me’ .
