‘but you could barely walk yesterday?’ I said concerned as we took off.

‘yeah but I’d just woken up from like a 4 day sleep.’ he laughed.

‘I suppose so’ I shrugged.

‘Molly I’m fine’ he laughed.

‘oh really?’ I raised my eyebrows at him and lifted up his backpack. ‘then why do you have a portable chemist in your backpack?’ I shook his bag and you could hear all of the tablets rattling.

‘the doctor gave me them, I didn’t ask for them’ he stuck his tongue out and laughed. ‘and most of the rattling in there is all of this’

He opened his bag to reveal about 100 bags of sweets and chocolate.

‘Jesus Christ! Justin they do have food in Africa!’ I gasped.

‘I know!’ he laughed, ‘these are for the kids’ he smiled.

I felt my heart melt. ‘I mean they don’t have much right?’ he smiled.

He seriously was going to have to stop doing that or I was going to become a puddle on the floor.

‘n’aaaw that’s so sweet’ I smiled. Suddenly I gasped, ‘wait! Who’s taking care of Lexi?!’

‘My Mom’ he laughed.

I breathed a sigh of relief.

‘left that a little late didn’t you? I mean we are like 32,000 feet in the air.’ he laughed. #not much you could do about it now if I had left her in a ditch at the side of the road’

‘No I suppose so’ I laughed. ‘hey! I could have sky dived my way down there and got her. That way I would save her AND cross something off my bucket list’ I smiled.

‘Yeah’ he scoffed. ‘because I’d let you just jump out of a plane? Can you imagine it? ‘oh shit Justin we forgot Lexi’ he mocked my voice. ‘Oh don’t worry just hop out the plane and sky dive down to get her … oh and while you’re there get me a starbucks’ he laughed.

I burst out laughing, ‘yeah that’s exactly how it’d go … and I don’t talk like that!’

‘Yeah you kind of do’ he laughed.

I punched his arm laughing. The rest of the flight was quite funny, we spent most of the time laughing. It was weird, it felt like I hadn’t seen Justin in forever, when I’d really been with him for the past 4 days. We touched down in Africa and were swept away into a car before anyone noticed who we were. We both sat and stared out of the widow, our jaws hitting the floor.

It could be the most beautiful place I’d ever seen. Sure there weren’t any landmarks or tourist spots but that’s what made it gorgeous. We were in the middle of a desert somewhere and never wanted to leave. The way the sun hit the beautifully bright sand. The one tree which stood solemnly in the middle of a stretch of dirt. You could shout what you want here and no one would hear you. You could do what ever you wanted and no one would criticise you. It was amazing.

I looked over at Justin grinning. He was sitting with his arms crossed and his lip pouted.

‘what’s wrong?’ I laughed.

‘Molly? Do you see one single lion?’

‘yeah! Didn’t you see the pack of them in this obviously well populated stretch of nothingness?’ I smiled.

‘very funny’

‘Don’t worry you’ll get to see one’ I smiled.

10 minutes later we pulled up at a little village. There was a camera man waiting for us. There were little children gathered all around him. Justin turned to get out the car smiling. I sat where I was and looked at the children.
