They both laughed, 'oh but just for the record we are NOT calling the baby Barbra' Caitlin laughed.

'I'll second that' I laughed. We all turned back to the screen.

There was a weird noise. 'What's that noise?' I asked curiously.

The nurse smiled. 'That, is the baby's heart beat'

Caitlin and I gasped smiling. 'Makes it all seem real doesn't it' the nurse grinned.

I smiled and reached out for Justin's hand. But before I got the chance to, he had jumped up and ran out of the room.

'Justin!' Caitlin shouted after him as she propped herself up on her arms. Her jaw dropped and she was left speechless. She looked genuinely hurt.

'He's still adjusting, don't take it personally, I'll be right back' I ran out and along to the desk. 'Hi!' I shouted at the lady, 'I came in here with a guy, about yay high, swishy hair, have you seen him?'

'Ran to he stairs, guess he's heading to the roof' she muttered without even taking her eyes off the computer.

'Of course he did!' I hissed under my breath. I ran up the stairs as fast as I could. By the time I burst the door leading to the roof open I collapsed to the floor out of breath. Man am I unfit.

I peeled myself of the floor and looked up at Justin. He was sitting on the edge of the wall that separated the roof, from the beautiful view and sheer 7 storey drop to a concrete pavement. Shit how do you do this? If I shout he might get a fright and fall, but if I'm too quiet what if he jumps. I came to the conclusion that I would run over and say it quietly that way it was fast and quiet.

I sprinted over to him. 'Justin! Don't jump!' I half screamed.

He looked round at me and smiled softly. 'I'm not gonna jump! ... I just needed a place to think.' he said looking back around at the busy city below.

'yeah, I always run out of the room and a sensitive moment then run and sit on the edge of a huge multi storey building, risking falling to my young and tragic death when I need to think' I grinned over at him as I climbed up on the wall beside him. I am shit scared of heights, but I was so scared of Justin falling that it over ruled it.

He gave a small laugh. 'But all joking aside, Justin you scared the living crap out of me!' I said seriously.

'I would never jump! Why would I want to voluntarily leave you, why would I put you through that?' he smiled and said softly looking down.

'Oh I wasn't thinking about me, I was thinking about your daughter down there'

His eyes widened. 'Caitlin's having a girl?!'

'No! Barbra!' I smiled.

'Right, right, how could I forget Barbra' he laughed, still looking off into the distance.

'so kiddo, what's going on?' I said quietly looking over at him.

'I'm having a baby' he said in disbelief.

Normally I'd make a joke about that being a medical miracle but it didn't seem like the right time. 'Yeah ... Yeah you are' I said hesitantly.

'But ... How ... Why? I'm not even old enough to vote! Let alone be a parent!' I could hear the frustration in his voice.

'Well, Justin mistakes happen, why? You'll have to ask yourself why you slept with her and really?! You're gonna compare parenting to voting?' I smiled at the end. 'Besides, you're doing an awesome job with Barbra'.

'It's mainly you though, I mean, I called her Barbra?' he screwed his face up in disgust.

'Yeeah you kinda mucked up on the name' I laughed a little, 'And who cares if I've been helping you, what you think I'm gonna disappear when the baby comes, you think people are gonna criticise you for having a little help?'
