Ch 9: Cracking The Case

This Sunday is my best friend's birthday so I wanted to dedicate this chapter for her. Even though it isn't all about bday stuff :). She probably won't read this bcuz she doesn't have Wattpad, but I still wanna dedicate this to her! -C
~Starla's POV~
I climbed down the tree with the fake blossom in my hand. I put the blossom inside the new queen's hand and she stared at it.
"A-A Fake!" She replied.
Everyone gasped as the Cherry tree's blossoms fluttered down and the city's light were flickering.
"Dragons! To the layer!" Ace shouted. People were murmuring, probably wondering why he would "joke" at a time like this. Ace left for the hotel and everyone else followed. The bad thing was we were 10 blocks from the hotel, so I showed them a new trick.
"Gate of constellations open...AQUA HOTEL!" A bright light shone in front of everyone and when it cleared, it revealed the plaza.
"Woah! Starla I didn't know you could do that!" Ace exclaimed. I smiled and nodded at him. He giggled and I started giggling too.
"Uh...well, we will be going to our rooms while you do that and Ace...You better close the hotel down for now, we have 10 reservations for 6:00 and I don't know if we will be here watching the plaza." Katie said.
Ace nodded and they left, we resumed our awkward moment.
We both giggled again, which transformed into laughing hysterically. What were we doing? I wants to break the giggling, so I just told him that I felt tired and I wanted to go to bed. He nodded and I walked upstairs. Katie...she's...our daughter. I needed to tell her soon, but I don't know how she would react. I was too busy in thought that I didn't notice a wide circle filled with light on the floor and I fell right in.
Suddenly, everything became white.
"W-Where am I?" "Mama!" A voice yelled not to far from me, I ran towards that voice and saw a little girl. "C-Cass..." She nodded and flung her arms open. "S-So it wasn't Katie." She shook her head, "It is. I found out I had a rare type of magic that I had to conceal so I had to form a different life. I formed Katie's life with no memories of her childhood." I gasped in astonishment. "Which means...she could do extraordinary things!" My daughter nodded, "But beware." Her eyes suddenly turned yellow. "6 dragons journey west, Facing a troublesome twisted red test, Light dead at the end of time, Trapped in a lava filled dime, Poison and Wind blend to one, With the help of friends, Only the one can beat the ton." With those words, my daughter collapsed and I faded back to my real time.
None of Cassidy's words made sense. But I knew I had to tell Ace, but I had to figure this out myself first. I ran to my room and locked the door. "6 dragons...that must mean Katie, Bella, Arin, Ella, Jill, and Emma! 6." I wrote that down on a piece of paper. "Now..." I said to myself, "what does troublesome twisted red test mean?"
"Well red is caution and troublesome twisted with caution test." A deep voice said. I looked back and saw Ace. "Is it the next premonition?" He asked. I nodded. Ace sat next to me and we worked on the prophecy together.
6 dragons or Katie, Bella, Arin, Ella, Jill, and Emma journey west. They face a troublesome twisted with caution test. Only to be too late and see that the light in the world has died. The 6's powers combined isn't enough to stop the master of evil, and he traps them in a lava filled confined space or dime. For the wind and poison...Bella and Jill? That one was a little foggy, And the chosen one will be the only one that can bear the ton, which is the master. But the chosen one would need help from friends.
"We solved it!" Ace and I hugged tightly and decided we would tell the girls tomorrow.
~Katie's POV~
I couldn't stop thinking about Peter and Rachel and Cherry. Well mostly Peter and Rachel. I mean, are they okay? I just hope they don't remember me. I can't have them interfering, I know that sounds mean, but I don't want them to get hurt and I mean it. Cherry. I've lost interest about what she was doing and stuff. She found her true friends apparently. Rhonda and Mia. Why did they hate me? I mean, what did I do to them? I laid on my bed trying to sleep, but if just couldn't. I couldn't take it anymore, I needed to do that spell.
"LIGHT GLITTER HYPNO!" A small blob with cross eyes appeared, made out of glitter. "Woman?" He asked. I sighed, "don't call me woman. Anyways, I need you to make me sleep." Hypno huffed in irritation and waved his hand. A small mini clock appeared in his hand, and I got sleepier and sleepier as he waved it back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. Soon, I blacked out.
"Wake up Katie!" I groaned and stood up groggily noticing a blurry outline of someone standing above me. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and saw it was Jill.
"H-Hullo." I said. She waved and grinned. Then she pointed down the stairs and I understood. Jill soon left and I got ready, I tripped like 100 times! And like that I was out the door.
"What happened to you?" Emma asked, I realized the whole gang was out there. Emma was referring to my bruises. "Tripped." I responded. The gang frowned, but let it go.
"Come to office now!" Ace said using telepathy.
We looked at each other and raced each other downstairs. Bella was first, using her wind power. Then Jill. Then Emma. Then me. Jill was a really fast runner, she could run a mile in less than 5 minutes, Emma used her plant power and teleported place to place. I just used my light magic and flew at the speed of light, not really, but I will be soon, when I master light magic. Soon Ella appeared with her low-level jets, then Arin, who liked walking and was always last. We then turned the knob of the door and piled in.
"Aah. We found a lead in the Cherry Blossom case. Journey west. Then we will communicate with you telepathically there and tell you the rest of the premonition Starla had." Ace told us. We nodded. "You will be leaving tomorrow. Copy?"
We all nodded and did a salute, then we left giggling. "Let's leave tomorrow early in the morning. Make sure you pack today!" Jill exclaimed. "Yup." We yelled and parted ways.
I sighed as I packed my clothes. "Hmm, I got my wallet, clothes, emergency food, tent packet...think I'm all set." I cheered. "Hmm, maybe I should take some extra light glitter for emergency energy food." I nodded approving the idea.
"CALLING THEE GLITTER FAIRY!" A fairy (yea a real one, not a glitter-made one) appeared. "Hey~!" A small voice said. I waved back, then requested a small emergency light package. "Alright." The fairy, or Maybel, disappeared, then in a blink of an eye reappeared with a small purple baggy. Maybel handed the baggy to me, then disappeared with a wink. I looked inside to make sure she didn't trick me...AGAIN. Last time I called her, she gave me a big blob of clay instead of the real energy food. I was real pissed because of all days, I ran out of energy during the battle. I put the purple bag in my jean pocket that I would be wearing tomorrow, then zipped the suitcase up and put it near the bedroom door. I'm all set.
~Bella's POV~
I trudged to my room and slammed the door shut, by accident. Jeez, sometimes this wind magic bothers me. I blew a breeze and the closet door opened revealing a small suitcase jammed in there. I lugged the suitcase out and it opened suddenly, making me bonk my head on the inside of the suitcase. "Ow!" I yelped. I rubbed my head as I got my clothes and put it in there. I picked up a triangular 3D model and placed it inside. That 3D model is my good luck charm. My mother gave it to me, before she passed, I have been carrying it with me ever since, and trust me, it has saved me a lot.
Once I put that in, I decided I was set and I closed my suitcase and rolled it to the side of my bed.
~Ella's POV~
Arin and I were almost done packing. We put on our BFF necklaces for good luck, I guess and packed our clothes. All we need now is a tent packet. Bella and Emma don't need any. Bella could use her wind magic and blow down a tree in a perfect triangle form and she can form three rooms just like that. Emma could use her plant magic and make the plants grow uncontrollably creating a small dome-like structure that you can live in. When we zipped our suitcase up, I collapsed on the bed, I was downright tired. Arin laid next to me and we looked up at the ceiling. My eyes grew heavier and heavier, until they closed and I drifted off to sleep.
~Emma's POV~
Jill and I decided to pack together. Jill needed to borrow one of my tent packages anyways. As I placed some clothes inside my luggage, Jill was zipping hers up. "Your done already!?" I exclaimed. She nodded and rolled her suitcase out of my room, I guess she was done, I sighed as I finished placing my clothes inside the luggage. "And I'm...DONE!" I left my luggage there and fell back onto the soft floor. I sighed drifting of to sleep on the ground.
