"He's got such a strong face, and yet he died in an instant." Polnareff tensed up at the comment from Avdol's killer. "Well, the end of someone's life is usually a pretty sudden curtain call. It's probably normal to die without being able to say goodbye." The man chuckled. Polnareff glared at him.

"It may seem like I'm talking as though I know everything, but..." The man continued, but stopped when Polnareff wiped his eyes, turned, and began to walk towards him.

"Polnareff! Please, don't let him get to you!" Kakyoin yelled out, but his plea fell on deaf ears. Polnareff kept on walking. "Do you still not understand? Mr. Avdol told you not to fight by yourself!"

Polnareff stopped. Kakyoin continued.

"And you ignored that...You wanted to get revenge, even if it meant dying with your enemy. Mr. Avdol followed you because that worried him, and this is what happened!"

"So what am I supposed to do?" Polnareff asked.

"We need to fall back for now." Kakyoin answered. Both Scarlet and Polnareff were shocked at his answer.

"Avdol was cruelly stabbed in the back." An aura of white surrounded Polnareff as he summoned his Stand. "My sister was killed without resistance. You want me to hold these regrets inside and run away?!"

"Don't fight them when we don't even know how their Stands work yet! Don't fight a battle that will kill you! That's what Mr. Avdol was trying to tell you!" Kakyoin answered. Scarlet looked back down at Avdol's body. She still couldn't believe he was...

"Hey! Come on, li'l Pol Pol." The fake cowboy mocked.

"Why, you..." Polnareff started, but was interrupted by Scarlet as she stood up suddenly.

"Polnareff! Walk slowly towards Kakyoin and I! We're getting out of here." She said. Polnareff turned his head to look at her.

"Y-You're telling me to hold it in?" He asked, his fist shaking. His eyes traveled down to Avdol's body. He breathed heavily. "A-alright..."

A laugh broke the tension. "Hey, Polnareff." Polnareff turned, realizing he was standing right in front of a window. His reflection stared back at him. So did the reflection of the Stand that belonged to his sister's killer. "Avdol died for you. I think that means you owe him. He might not have died, if not for you." The Stand crawled up from the ground and walked towards him. But this wasn't in the real world. It was in the reflection of the window.

"Y-you bastard. Where's your real body?!"

"Polnareff! Calm down!" Scarlet and Kakyoin said together. They shared a quick glance, then looked back at Polnareff.

"But there's no need to be sad. Actually, you should be happy...Since you'll be together again soon. You'll die, and then you can be with those two fools in the next world." A knife came out from the Stand's wrist. "Your sister was really cute, Polnareff...Once you're reunited with her, you should ask her about exactly how I killed her!" Polnareff yelled out in anger.

"Polnareff, don't let him provoke you! He wants you to attack!" Kakyoin yelled out, but once again, his plea had fallen upon deaf ears. Silver Chariot, Polnareff's Stand, came out, attacking the window the Stand was using to reflect itself off of.

"Bastard!" He yelled as Silver Chatiot made quick work of the window, breaking it into smaller pieces...

Oh, no.

"Your Chariot cannot cut my Hanged Man." The pieces fell to the floor, some cracking, resulting in more reflective shards. "I am within a mirror. Your Stand can't enter a mirror. That's why!"
