Scarlet sat on one of the horses, smiling to herself as she looked behind her at the carriage being pulled by a pair of beautiful black stallions holding the rest of the team. Since that old woman was traveling with them, space was cramped. Scarlet refused to sit in between anyone, as she would have no personal space, and refused to sit in the back with the old woman. After jokingly suggesting they have Polnareff run beside the cart, Scarlet decided she would ride one of the horses. She had a way with the animals.
Joseph smiled at her, and she winked, turning forward again and taking a deep breath. The city of Karachi was coming up close. She placed her hand on the horse's mane, and it whinnied.
Jotaro looked at her, then at the corner of his eyes at Kakyoin, who was staring at her. She had been talking to him a lot since they left the ghost town, mostly making jokes and trying to get him to smile. She had even been joking around and talking to Joseph a lot more as well, along with mocking Polnareff. He was glad he didn't have to deal with her being annoying, as she mostly avoided him, but he couldn't help but wonder why she had gotten so much...happier lately.
He suspected it had to do with Kakyoin.

"Hey! A doner kebob place! Why don't we stop and get something to eat?" Joseph pointed out, and Scarlet's eyes traveled towards it. They had slowed down enough for her to decide to lean on the horse rather than hold onto it, nearly hugging it. It didn't seem to mind, actually welcoming the gesture.
She patted it's neck a few times, and it stopped, its partner doing the same. Joseph didn't even have to pull on the reins. Slightly impressed, Joseph got out of the carriage and went to go buy the group some doner kebobs.
Scarlet jumped off the horse and walked to the carriage, heading to Kakyoin and striking up a conversation with him. Jotaro observed them from the corner of his eye. He normally wouldn't care about such things. But he was curious as to what had caused the sudden change in behavior in the two. One day she was avoiding him, the next she seemed to never want to leave his side.
As Joseph returned with the kebobs, he stopped in his tracks, seeing the old woman staring at him with wide eyes. He dropped the food he held. "Hey! That old lady's awake!"
Kakyoin, Jotaro, Scarlet and Polnareff turned to face her, seeing her sweating profusely. "I-I haven't said anything!" She stuttered, her voice breaking. "Wh-why are you here before me? Do you think that I, Enyaba, would actually tell them the secret of Lord DIO's stand?!"
The group followed Enyaba's gaze to the seller of the kebobs, who started removing his sunglasses and his kandura. As the man looked at them menacingly, tentacles suddenly burst out of Enyaba's face, destroying the carriage and startling the horses, who ran off. The group jumped away from the carriage and Scarlet watches the horses go. "What the hell is with these tentacles?!" She shouted, looking back at the old woman.
"Why? Why have you come to kill me?!" She screamed.
"It means that Lord DIO truly trusts no one." The man spoke as he took off his cloak, dropping it to the ground beside him. "I will make sure you never speak again. And as for you five there...I will be taking your lives."
More tentacles came out of the old woman's face, and she fell backwards.
"Old lady!" Polnareff shouted, as she cried out in pain and fell to the ground.
"My name is Dan...Dan of Steel. My Stand suggests the Lovers card. I will see to it that you all meet the same fate as Enyaba." The enemy introduced himself, and Scarlet turned slightly to look at Kakyoin. Her gaze met Jotaro instead, and Enyaba cried out again.
