The Fool and N'doul

The sound of a helicopter coming towards them caught their attention, and they all turned to get a better look at it.

"What's that?!" Polnareff asked loudly, but Joseph just smiled.

"They're here."

"It's a helicopter!" Polnareff pointed out. Scarlet poked his arm.

"You don't have to point out the obvious. We can all see it."

"It's a helicopter from the Speedwagon Foundation. It's looking for a place to land." Joseph said, and they all watched it as it circled around them.

"Speedwagon Foundation? Your old friends who are taking care of Mom back in Japan?" Jotaro asked, and Joseph nodded.

Scarlet raised her hand in front of her face and closed her eyes to keep the sand from getting in as the helicopter landed in front of them.

"Don't tell me we're going to ride in that helicopter." Jotaro complained.

"No. As much as I'd like to, the crew aren't Stand users." Joseph replied.

"And we'd probably crash if we did." Scarlet quickly added.

"Then why is that helicopter here?" Kakyoin asked.

"They've brought us a helper."

"A helper?"

"He has a few personality issues, so it's taken a while to get him here."

"Mr. Joestar!" Avdol said in surprise. "It's impossible for him to come with us on this trip! There's no way he could be helpful!"

"Do you know him, Avdol?" Kakyoin asked.

"Yeah. Very well."

"Well, if he's a helper, he must be a Stand user, right?" Scarlet asked, and Joseph nodded.

"He's the user who's Stand suggests The Fool as his card."

"The Fool? Heheh. That card sounds like an idiot." Polnareff chuckled.

"Not as much as you do." Scarlet said.

"We're lucky he is not our enemy. You wouldn't be able to beat him." Avdol told Polnareff, turning back to the helicopter.

"What'd you say, you asshole? You better watch your mouth." Polnareff walked towards him and grabbed him by the collar.

"It's the truth. And what's with the hand? That hurts."

"Sounding all high-and-mighty and shit-"

"Hey, cut it out!" Scarlet demanded as she whacked Polnareff in the back of the head. He let Avdol go and gave her a look. "What? The helicopter landed. Don't you want to meet the dude that could easily kick your ass?"

"Why, you-"

The helicopter door opened, and they all turned their attention to them. The pilots nodded at them. One stepped out and walked to Joseph.

"Mr. Joestar! Thank goodness you're safe." They shook hands.

"Thanks for coming out here. I appreciate it."

"So. Who's the Stand user?" Jotaro asked. The pilots looked at him, but gave him no answer. "I'm asking which one of you is the Stand user." Jotaro repeated.

"It's not either of us." A pilot explained as his buddy went to open the back of the helicopter. "He's in the backseat."

It was empty, just a blanket.

"But there's no one there." Scarlet pointed out, looking at the pilot in confusion.

"No, he's there."
