This chapter was like..over 6000 words so..I split it in two because holy cow. Enjoy!

"Hey, Polnareff, you've heard of the Sphinx, right?" Scarlet asked the Frenchman as they sat on the train, Scarlet in the seat behind him. Jotaro was sitting with Polnareff, but he had gone to the bathroom, prompting Scarlet to annoy Polnareff with questions as a way to let out all the anxiety she was feeling. Sure, she had Iggy sitting in her lap, and he was adorable when he was sleeping, but the one person she needed with her wasn't here.

Kakyoin.

"Sure I have. What about it?" Polnareff answered.

"Well, do you know about the question that the Sphinx would ask travelers? If they got it wrong, they'd get eaten." She explained.

"What?! Do you know the question?"

"Yeah. I'll ask you it. But I bet you're gonna get it wrong!" She challenged, and he laughed.

"Yeah, right. Try me."

"Okay, what walks on 4 legs in the morning, 2 in the afternoon and 3 in the evening?" She turned around more to face him, and Iggy moved slightly in her lap, making her stay still as she waited for Polnareff's answer.

One she hadn't received after 15 seconds.

"Told you you wouldn't get it-"

"No, it's not that! I know it!"

"Then what is it?"

"..I..don't know it."

Scarlet laughed. "I should have bet money or something. Or made you do something stupid."

"I'm sure not many others could figure it out, anyway. Not even your genius boyfriend Kak-"

Before he could even finish speaking, she smacked his head and turned back in her seat, blushing, prompting Avdol and Joseph to look over. Avdol figured out what must have happened, but Joseph was lost.

Jotaro returned and sat down, and they rode in silence until the train finally stopped at their destination.

They had finally reached Cairo.

They all got off the train, Scarlet stretching and looking around anxiously. She couldn't help it. She was terrified. She had been both looking forward to and absolutely dreading the moment when they reached Cairo, reached DIO, reached the moment where they would fight him.

She hoped no one else could see through her tough and joking façade.

As they took a car to get closer to the city, Scarlet stared out the window and tapped her fingers against her thighs. When they got out of the car and stood right at the pyramids, she stayed silent. They stood there, looking over the city.

She wanted Kakyoin at that moment more than ever.

The five of them (six with Iggy) arrived at a café, standing before the counter in silence.

The bartender turned around and placed his fists upon the table. "Welcome, foreigners. What would you like?"

"There's something we'd like to ask you." Joseph said, placing pictures on the counter. "We're looking for the building in these pictures. Do you know where it is?"

They were pictures of the outside of DIO's mansion. The mansion where he was hiding, and the mansion where they would fight and defeat him.

Hopefully.

"Sirs, ma'am, this is a café. Please order something." The bartender replied, looking up at them after glancing at the pictures.

"Five iced teas." Joseph ordered, and Avdol placed the money to pay for it on the counter. The bartender grunted in acknowledgement and poured 5 cups of iced tea, looking at the pictures.
