Liliana walked into the school building, she was immediately directed into Miss Carter's office. She sat at the desk, sighing as she felt all the teachers eyes on her.
"Everyone saw me being driven off in a police car so they think i'm some master criminal, I know" Liliana said
"We just want you to be prepared for the rumours" Miss Carter said
"Rumours?" Liliana chuckled
"You came into school with a black eye and then got whisked off in a police car" Miss Carter said "Teenagers can be brutal"
Liliana sighed as she stood up and left the office, walking towards the canteen with a shaky breath. She felt eyes on her as she walked down the corridor, keeping her head down as to avoid eye contact with anyone.
She walked into the canteen making the large space immediately become so quiet it felt empty. Liliana frowned as she lifted her head up, letting herself make eye contact with everyone.
"She's back!"
Suddenly, Liliana was pulled into a tight hug by Missy and Nas. She giggled and hugged her friends back, thankful that they were their to stop the awkwardness.
"Your boyfriend has been worrying about you, he even tried to run after the police car" Nas chuckled
"My boyfriend?" Liliana scoffed
Missy and Nas giggled to one another as they dragged Liliana over to where Cory was stood, already staring at the girl.
He grinned at Liliana, jumping over the table and pulling her into a tight hug. She giggled as he wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly.
"They got charged with assault" Liliana said
"Thank god" Cory grinned
Cory's face fell when he saw Jordan walking up to the group, looking angry. He was breathing heavily, his eyes red and his body shaking.
"You told the police?" Jordan scoffed
"I had to tell them everything" Liliana said
"God, you're such a selfish bitch" Jordan said
Cory pushed Liliana behind him gently with his arm as he squared up against his brother, looking down at his younger sibling.
"Don't call her that" Cory said
"I'm gonna get arrested, Cory" Jordan said
Liliana shook her head, glancing at Jordan as she frowned.
"Jordan, they're not going to arrest you" She said calmly
"How would you know that?" Jordan asked
"Because, Mr Bell managed to persuade the police that you'd been forced into it" Liliana stated
"That means nothing" Jordan shrugged
"Sam's cousin backed up our claims" Liliana said
"Wait, seriously?" Cory asked
"Yeah, I wasn't gonna let Jordan get punished, he's my mate" Liliana said
"Your boyfriends brother is your mate" Cory chuckled "Cute"
Liliana turned her head, glancing at the taller boy as he looked back at her with a cheeky grin.
"My boyfriend?" Liliana smirked
"G'wan Cory!" Riz and Naveed shouted
"Yeah, might as well" Cory shrugged
Liliana chuckled as the boy pulled her into a hug, kissing the side of her forehead.
