"Where are you guys going after this?" Luhan asked as we all exited the restaurant. Lucky for me, Luhan's paying.

Okay, technically he pays me for everything but still, free food is always the best.

"Not sure yet." I sighed. I finally remembered that I couldn't bring Xiu Min to stay at my place again, and besides it was far between any one of my houses. "I'll find a place."

A faint smile curved on Luhan's lips as he tried his best to look happy. "Thank you, Moon Byul. I'll contact you later on for further tasks. Our battle is far from over."

"Yeah, yeah." I slightly wriggled my brows at him, reaching his shoulder to give him a soft pat.

"Before you go, let me remind you to never steal from black market dealers again. Sooner or later, they might even kidnap you and sell your organs."

Luhan chuckled, getting on a black car which was probably just rented for the night.

"I'll be at my best behaviour, Moon Byul. Now, please do-"

"Take care of Xiu Min." I cut him off with a monotone. "Yeah, I get it okay?"

"Gomawo." He said, with a chuckle at the end. I gifted him with my smirk, just watching as he drove his car away. Soon, he was gone out of sight.

"Great." A sigh escaped from me as I turned to check on Xiu Min. My eyes widened as I scrunched my nose to see where he was. The boy was looking down, only to show his dark brown hair getting messy as a result of his fingers running through it. His back was firmly leaning on the back door of my precious, which was an uneasy sight for me.

"Yah, you freaking little-"

I caught something shining on his cheeks as he slightly lifted up his head.

My lips parted, realizing that he was crying.

Xiu Min is... crying.

An instant feeling started to pierce into my heart as I realized how vulnerable he looked. The fact that he couldn't even lift up his face to look at me was just so randomly sad. I didn't expect to see this side coming from him out of the blue.

What am I supposed to do?

It took me a few seconds just watching him wipe off his tears with the back of his palm, silence as our background effect.

"Hey, I'm sorry."

I don't know how in the world those words came out from my very own mouth, but at the moment it was the only thing I could say.

Hearing what I just said, the boy raised his face towards me with a hint of confusion lingering on his face. His eyes were a bit puffy, and it shone under the moonlight because of the tears.

The boy stared at me. "What?"

I slowly bit my lower lip, not expecting his respond. Yikes.

"Well, I know it's hard for you." I couldn't look back at him, and just lowered my gaze to the ground as I made my way towards him. "Being abandoned and being lost."

His eyes were on me, but I just casually opened the driver's door. I tried hard not to look at him, because comforting someone is not a thing for me. Especially when it comes to boys. Looking at him will make me go too soft, so I better not.

"I'm sorry for kidnapping you." I said, giving out a sigh at the end of my sentence. "Well, there are a lot of things I should be sorry for, but for now, only that will do."
