Moon Byul's P.O.V

"Breaking News! EXO's missing member, Xiu Min has been found unconscious in a severe car crash in Gangnam-gu this afternoon. Two vehicles had crashed to both sides of the car he was in, which almost fully destroyed it. A few people that had helped to save him found the Korean idol's both hands and feet tied with rope and with major injuries around his feet and head. He has been rushed to the nearest Gangnam hospital and is being operated in the emergency wad right now. People are assuming he was in the car of the kidnapper that took him away around a week ago but strangely, the driver or assumed kidnapper, is no where to be found. The police are still working with SME to track down the kidnapper with help of the discovered car and Xiu Min after he fully gains his consciousness. We sincerely hope the inspirational idol will recover as soon as possible and join his members back on the stage."

Solar turned off the television and covered her mouth, while Hwasa and Whee In were too shocked to even react to what they just saw from the first news on Entertainment Weekly.

And in the middle of the girls was me.

A very horrified me.

Slowly, I raised both my palms to cover my face, trying to take a deep breath for the sake of not going insane.

We all just took a few moments to calm down and process what happened to Xiu Min, until Solar finally croaked and broke the silence.

"I... I'm sorry." Her voice was shaky. "I shouldn't have let him go to the public toilet alone. It's all my fault."

And the fragile girl broke into sobs.

Hwasa that was right beside her immediately wrapped her arms and took Solar into a warm embrace. "No, eonnie. You didn't ask for this to happen. You didn't cause his accident, okay? Besides, he's alive, and I guess being found by the public is better than being taken away by whoever that crazy maniac is. Please don't blame yourself."

Solar still sobbed, her head already on Hwasa's chest.

I could feel myself getting numb and number as I stared blankly at the ceiling. A sigh escape my lips, causing Whee In to reach out for my hand. "Byul eonnie, what do we do now?"

For the first time in forever, Moon Byul Yi had no idea what to do.

It has never crossed my mind that something like this would happen.

"Eonnie..." Hwasa's voice managed to make me turn my head towards her. She looked at me, with furrowed brows and a faint smile on her red lips. "You're Moon Byul Yi. The Moon Byul Yi we know would have a plan up her sleeves."

"Yeah." Whee In instantly chirped in, her small hands gently massaging my hand. "You always know what to do, even when it's unexpected. We believe in you, eonnie."

Their words carved into my heart, as I turned my head to look back into each one of them. Solar slowly lets go of Hwasa and wiped her tears as she took my other hand.

"I'm sorry, Byul-ah." She couldn't bear to open her eyes. "I truly am."

"I know."

I closed my eyes, taking another breath as Xiu Min's face appeared in my head.

I still have 31 days with him.
