Chapter 28

The Main P.O.V.

"What the heck is wrong with her?" Solar frowned hard, irritated by the fact that Moon Byul has not replied her texts nor answered her calls. It has been a few days since she last texted her, the day she fainted after bringing the jerk up.

The thought of him cause Solar to pause in front of Xiu Min's room. She lets out a deep sigh, trying to shake him off from her mind as she pushed the door opened.

Her eyes instantly saw an empty bed, which made her gasped. Did Xiu Min got discharged?

But thankfully her eyes kept wandering and caught the sight of a figure in a wheelchair. He showed his back, admiring the sky out of the window.

"Xiu Min-ssi!" She exclaimed, relieved.

The boy turned his head, raising his brows. "Solar-ssi!"

"Ommo, you look so skinnier than before!" She gasped, placing the box of cake slices onto the table alongside some meds. "I'm sorry for coming late, I was very busy. How are you doing?"

"So far so good. I might be discharged tomorrow." He beamed, pushing his wheelchair towards the bed to talk closer. "How are you? Oh, and Whee In? Hwa Sa too?"

"We're all jolly and good!" She chuckled, looking around. "I see you got a lot of gifts? Your fans must've missed you."

"Yeah." He grinned, but then gulped nervously as he looked at Solar. "Em..."

Should he ask her?

"Ne?" Solar looked at him with big eyes, wondering why he looked so bothered. "What's wrong?"

"Byeol. No, I mean Moon Byul." He stammered. "She hasn't come here for days, where is she?"

His news were new to Solar, who gave out a loud gasp. "What?!"

"You didn't know?"

"Not at all! I thought she was here all the time! She hasn't contacted me for days!" She exclaimed in a high pitched tone, shocked as heck. "What happened?"

Xiu Min gulped to Solar's question, his mind wandering to the last thing that they did together the other night.

His cheeks slowly turned pink as he faked a cough and avoided Solar's eyes.

"Well, erm..." he stammered. "I'm not sure... all I know is she left."

Solar's eyebrows shot upwards. "She left? Why in the world would she leave without telling me? Did she tell you anything?"

The image of her tear stained face and beautiful lips came into his mind, making him blush harder. "N-no! No."

"Okay..." Solar lifted a brow, quite weirded out to see Xiu Min's peculiar actions. "Don't worry, I'll find a way to find her."

"Ehem..." Xiu Min cleared his throat, a thought coming across his mind. All he wanted was to meet Moon Byul again to clear up what happened, despite not sure how to express it to her. That should be a whole other story. Now, Plan A is to find her and make sure she's alright.

And Solar is just the right person to ask.

A nervous grin crept up his lips as he looked up towards Solar.

"Can I ask you for a favor?"
