As I brought the hot coffee out into the living room, I took a mental note of all of the outfits she had arranged on the couch. All of which, I would never pick out or wear on my own occasions. As I handed the cup to Bordie, she thanked me and exhaled proudly, "Oh, I brought hair dye too."

You'd think gulping only happens in cheesy movies or teen fictions, but I genuinely gulped when Bordie mentioned hair dye. And I swear, for just a split second, my virgin hair retracted into my skull, "Hair dye?" I asked, "For what reason?"
"Why not?" Bordie returned and sat next to the clothes, "The dudes we're getting from like attractive girls and will likely give us more as a compliment, you know?"
I furrowed my eyebrows and sat next to her, "So, I'm not attractive?"
"No, no no no, oh god," Bordie backtracked with wide eyes, "I didn't mean it like that. You're very attractive, it's just being all dolled up is what I meant. Besides, your hair could use some sprucing up. How about blonde?"
"Blonde," I repeated, "I don't know. I feel like I look better with darker hair."
"You don't know until you try! Plus, you could match Cam. That would be cute, it could totally be a couple thing. Like, you know how some Insta couples match outfits? You two could match hair," Bordie smiled and rummaged through her bags, pulling out three boxes and a bottle. She looked over at my stunned expression and laughed, "Don't worry, I know how to keep my mouth shut, especially around Captain."
Anxiety pooled in my chest and I folded my hands over my stomach, "But how? This is my first time being around you.. I don't get it."
"I've been around Cam a few times in the past week or so, and he's been very upbeat compared to how he was before you joined us. I know from the lads that you two are neighbors, and before I came to your house I watched him walk you home and kiss you. Did you two even sleep?" Bordie laughed as she handed me an outfit, "I'm sorry, I know I talk a lot and I know it can be a bit much, but I know it's good to have someone to talk about this stuff with. I want you to know you can trust me , I've been a total Ryan hater since my boo got us involved."
"How did that go down?" I ask, changing the subject. I walked into the bathroom to change where she couldn't see me. The skater skirt, knee highs, and crop top taunted me from the bathroom counter as I got undressed. I wasn't a skirt person, and wasn't a fan of showing my stomach, but it looked like it would be cute together.
"Timmy, my boyfriend, is Ryans little cousin. We needed money and the business helped out a lot, so we stayed. I try to stay out of it as much as possible, but I usually end up around for the bigger trips like Columbia," she explained from the living room. Once I was dressed, I stared at myself in the mirror. And.. I looked good. Although, I did feel like I was staring at something foreign. But I guess that fits, since we're going to a foreign country and all.
"How come I haven't seen him around?" I questioned and walked out of the bathroom to show Bordie the look.
"Because he works on the other side of Melbou- Oh my god," Bordie muttered while looking me u p and down, "Rors, you look fucking amazing."
"Rors?" I laughed, "Really?"
"Yes. That's what I'm calling you now. But this is definitely going into your suitcase. You have black vans, right?"
"I do," I said while slowly accepting my new nickname. Bordie tossed another outfit at my face and pointed towards the bathroom with a smile on her face, "So, do you know how to dye hair properly and stuff?"
"Oh yeah for sure. I dyed my moms hair a lot when I still lived with her, and worked in a salon before Timmy got us the gig with Ryan. I have high hopes for that sundress, by the way. I know it'll be hot down there," she commented, referring to the dress in my hands.
