Brendon heard that the FAYZ was clear but didn't go down to Perdido Beach. He missed his parent sure but wasn't sure if he could face them without breaking down. Brendon was 14 and surely wasn't allowed to cry; men didn't cry.
Brendon wasn't exactly sure what he was doing. Maybe walking around in a daze? Brendon saw some kids get lifted into the air. At first, Brendon thought that someone pissed off Dekka but when he saw laser lights hit one of the kids, Winny, he thought Sam and Dekka snapped and was killing peoples now. Brendon remembered that Sam was off on some mission with the egotistical jerk that was Caine. Wait, so who or what is doing this? Fear blossomed in his chest.
Gravity seized to exist under Brendon's feet? Whoa! A little girl stood in front of him. A girl with an evil smile of delight at the killing she is doing. She looked similar too someone. Who?
She stopped gravity and the ground rushed towards Brendon, he screamed, but suddenly the gravity stopped. She's playing with us like a cat with a mouse. The little girl aimed one of her hand and Brendon's eyes widened even more. Her hand lined up with his head.......and she fired.
