we had to leave
had to run
had to hide
had to go far away
we went to a new planet
the continent an open field
that turned into a slight forest
or at least a forest for them
we were alone
just the four of us
I barely wanted them there
I wanted to be alone
to sacrifice myself for them
but my Sister wouldn't have that
no one would die on her watch
my Best Friend needed me
so I helped her with her bags
my Love had it the worst
she was so overwhelmed
sick of all the people
and of course she had just Come Out
and her mom didn't take it well
Best Friend was pregnant and sick
all our families were taken
people had died for us
people kept dying for us
we were overwhelmed
filled with anxiety
we wanted to lie down and go to sleep
I wanted to not wake up
I wanted him to find me and declare it over
we were all so tired
when we went into hiding
