fear.
panic.
hope.
she had hope she would win this.
she would survive.
she would make it back to her parents.
to her siblings.
even if they weren't watching.
even if all of her siblings were only technically half-siblings.
even if they didn't know she was gay.
she thought about what she had:
rocks.
branches.
anything that could help her.
anything that could help her at all.
but that's not all she needed.
she needed a way,
to cheat her way out of this.
