"Why are you here?" I say and get up. Kyle turns around and faces him, his expression different from mine. They're both equally as angry to see each other and that worries me."I could ask you the same thing. And why are you here with him? Out of all people!" Ace insults Kyle and he approaches him, ready to jab some punches down his throat. I stand in between them and fold my arms beneath my chest. My eyes met his stormy blue ones and locked with them. I can see the fury invading them.
"Get out of the way, Lydia." He says, clearly trying to control his anger. "Let's take this outside, big man."
"Don't you wanna tell Lydia what you've been up to with my sister first? Hmm? Or should I."
"Shut up, Kyle." Ace whines.
"Or what, huh?"
"What kind of sick game am I to you both?" I retorted and looked at them both. I can already notice a small crowd gathering around to watch. Ace didn't seem to have it bother him. His eyes are intensely fixated on Kyle and madness has officially taken over him. "Kyle did you bring me here just so you can expose Ace to me?" My voice almost croaked. I'm getting weaker and I'm at the verge of crying. My eyes are watery and my vision is blurry.
"Of course not. I brought you here to talk to you and spend time with you." Kyle explains himself. I want to believe him, but the way he looks at Ace tells me otherwise. It's like he wants to embarrass him in front of me.
"Bullshit." Ace snickers with a mocking smirk. Kyle's nostrils flared and I can't help but notice him lightly shaking his head. "You should've looked at him when Jackson mentioned your name. He went all out."
"Are you actually kidding me?" I say and my voice betrayed me by croaking. Warm tears followed and trickled down my red-tinted cheeks. I felt humiliated, used, and just as I thought that this night has been great, Ace shows up and ruins it all.
"Lydia, please wait." Kyle says as he follows me out of the restaurant but Ace grabs his arm firmly and stops him with challenging eyes.
"I'll deal with her. I don't want to see you around her." Are the last words I hear Ace saying before storming out of the restaurant. I tapped my feet on the floor, waiting for either of them to follow me out and explain everything because I've had enough. I'm fed up with this.
I turned around and faced Ace. His eyes were empty and his face was emotionless. He didn't show an ounce of remorse for what he did in there. I wanted to punch him, kick him but my body wasn't able to.
"What was that?" I ask in a serious tone.
"What was what?"
"Don't play with me, Ace or I swear I will leave right now." I threaten. I don't care how horrible that is but I just want him to tell me everything.
"Don't leave." He says, his expressions slowly but eventually softening. I get the odd feeling that he doesn't just mean by that me leaving now.
"Then tell me what has happened between you and Penelope."
