"When life gives you lemons, turn them into a lemonade."
**

I nuzzled into Ace's chest and I couldn't be more allured to his intoxicating scent. He drew circles with his finger on my arm and held my hand in his hand. This is one of the greatest experiences I've ever had and I wouldn't have done it with someone different. I don't want to change a single thing about it.

"Goodnight, Lyd." He says in a soft whisper that overwhelms me. This is the first time he's ever called me by my nickname.

"Night." I whisper back. I didn't even intend to stay the night here but my eyelids were getting heavier and it was getting harder to stay awake. I was slowly slipping into unconsciousness.

**
The next morning, light penetrated through Ace's sheer curtains and poured inside the room. My eyes gradually fluttered open to reveal his spacious and cold room. There wasn't much despite of the huge size of it. There were two nightstands next to each side of the bed. Two lamps occupied both and a charger with Ace's phone sat on the nightstand on the other side. A bathroom door, walk-in closet and a small couch occupied the rest of the room.

I stretched my arms and legs across the bed and my arm didn't hit the familiar steel figure I was hoping to hit. It was only then when I realized Ace wasn't here. I was quick to my feet and my head throbbed terribly. I shouldn't have drank last night. I began unconsciously reminiscing on what Ace and I did last night. Starting with us dancing that led us to his bedroom...this place. And then he gave me something I never thought I'd have.

As I opened the door, more cool air came rushing in and I looked down, realizing that Ace's shirt only reached my upper thighs. I sucked in a quiet breath and hoped that everyone in this house would be asleep. I charged downstairs and scanned around. Scattered red cups and spilled alcohol decorated the freshly polished concrete floor. A ridiculous herd of people were sleeping in unorganized rows on the couches and some even slept on the floor. I headed to the kitchen to grab some water. I turned the sink on and filled a, hopefully clean, red cup with water. I shoved it down my throat and shut my eyes, wishing it'd help my terrible hangover.

"Lydia?" A barely familiar masculine voice called and ripped me out of my trance. Oh shit. I almost jumped.

As soon as I spotted Jackson standing in front of me, my first instinct was to pull the hem of my shirt down. He looked at me as I did that but didn't seem to care.

"How did you know it was me?" I asked.

"I could never forget you. Plus, your blonder than any other girl that shows up here." He laughs.

"Thanks?" I chuckled nervously. I'm glad he wasn't look at my bare thighs. But I'm sure that he noticed how nervous I felt. "Do you know where Ace is?"

"Ace?" He asks with confusion written all over him but he didn't question it further and I'm glad he didn't. "He's showering."

"Oh, okay." I nodded slowly, digesting his words. He has a bathroom in his room, why didn't he just shower there? Then again, he probably didn't want to wake me up. I don't know whether I should've waited for him here or if I should've headed upstairs and grabbed my things and left in a taxi.

"Do you need a ride?" Jackson asks, raising a curious eyebrow. I'd rather have Ace drive me home because I don't know Jackson well. I trust him, however, because he's Ace's friend. But then again, I feel safer around Ace. I don't care how clingy that makes me.

"Ace will drive me. Thanks, though." I say and manage to muster a fake smile and Jackson nods understandably, getting ready to head out.

The door pushed further and revealed Ace. A white towel hung dangerously on his waist, exposing his v-line. His once light brown hair was now black and it was soaked and dripping. I swallowed at the beautiful scenery of him half-naked but instantly looked away in hopes that he wouldn't notice. At least, I think he didn't. He entered and didn't bother to hold his loose towel together. It drove me insane.
