"What the...how did you know I was here?" I asked, my eyebrows knitting in confusion. I yanked my wrist away and he scoffed.

"This is what you do now? Party and kiss random guys?" He almost laughs as he mocked me. If he only knew who Ace was. I can't help but be embarrassed in front of all these people. He can't be serious. "Your mom was worried too. She told me about the few places you could be at and I headed here after visiting like four other places to look for you" He snarls and points at my face. I was beginning to get mad at him for shouting in my face. Ace's eyes were fueled with fury.

"Ryder, please. Don't make a scene." I say quietly, not darting my eyes away from Ryder's hot red face. I'm sure Ace's face was the same.

"Make a scene?" He chuckles humorlessly. "Okay, I won't. Now come with me so I can drive you home. We have to discuss this later, though." He grabbed my wrist tightly and I whimpered in pain.

In a blink of an eye, Ace steps between us, throwing Ryder's hand away from my wrist and I'm relieved but also terrified at the same time. What is he going to do? I can't have these two fight each other. If only looks could kill, Ryder would be collapsing on the floor. I silently begged for Ace to back away and be the bigger man. We attracted a small crowd but Ryder didn't seem to care and neither did Ace.

"What are you going to do? Hit me?" Ryder teases Ace. Ace's shoulders stiffened and he inched closer to Ryder and as his fist was about to make contact with Ryder's jaw, he paused.

"Get the fuck out, or prepare for your own funeral." Ace spits. The crowd was getting larger and larger and the music died down so everyone can hear their fight clearly. I was disgusted at all these people for watching them and finding this amusing instead of interfering to stop this.

"Ace, please. Don't do this, guys. You're better than this." I begged.

"No, Lydia, I won't fight him." Ryder laughs, looking at Ace up and down disgustedly. "Now drive home with me. Your mother is worried sick." The crowd began separating and I even heard some boos. All they came here for was for the physical fight. Sick heads.

I couldn't care less about how my mother felt but after what just happened, I can't stay anymore. Everyone here will just keep staring at me and Ace will be mad the whole time.

"Okay." I say and stepped onto Ryder's side.

"I'll drive you, Lydia." Ace says. Oh no. Please tell me this isn't actually happening.

"No, she'll go with me." Ryder says and his tone was full of venom.

"Like hell she will. Lydia you'll go with me won't you? Who even is this guy?" Ace scoffs. I glared at both of them.

"Shut up, both of you." I say, palming my face.

"Lydia." Ryder says and holds my shoulder. I was mad at him but that doesn't mean I won't let him drive me.

"I told you not to fucking touch her." Ace says and as he inches closer, his muscly and broad body pressed against me. His eyes were fixated on Ryder and he slowly lifted his hand off of me. Ace's shoulders relaxed a bit.

"So, Lydia?" Ryder sighs, folding his arms beneath his chest. I didn't want to disappoint Ace and I was sorry to do that. I shook my head lightly and I tried looking away from Ace.

I can't let Ace drive me, if anything, it'll make my mother get suspicious since I've known him for less than a whole week yet I hung out with him three times.

"I'm sorry Ace. I need to go with Ryder." I say quietly.

My eyes met Ace's. I couldn't help but notice all the anger from his face being washed away and subsided with hurt. I was just as hurt as him. I knew he didn't like to be defeated and me going with Ryder definitely made him feel let down.
