A few weeks later

Enzo's POV

I'd made a mistake. A really terrible one. And now the love of my life might have to pay the price for it.

As I struggled to fight of Nora's spell, I remembered the pills and pulled one out of my pocket. I grabbed her in a choke hold and forced the pill down her throat. Her eyes widened as she tried to push away and fight me off.

"Get off me!" She exclaimed

Matt broke free and ran towards his truck while we were fighting.

"Ossox" Nora chanted, trying to do a spell. Her eyes widen in horror.

I smirked.

"Fast-Acting stuff isn't it? That dose will keep you quiet for an hour or so"

The car engine roared as Matt drove away. Nora pushes me off her and I looked at her annoyed.

"Your toy got away" She remarks

I shrugged

"That's all right" I told her "I'm trading up. I like you better without your magic"

"Well, lucky for you, I'm weak with hunger. Haven't had a proper meal in three bloody years."

She tried to vamp speed away but I grabbed her and held her in a headlock. I took another pill out of my pocket and tried to shove it down her throat. She desperately struggled to break free.

"No! No!" She yelled. The look in her eyes was horrified.

"Are you really that attached to your witchy powers?" I asked, annoyed

"I'm attached to being alive! Those pills are what poisoned Mary Lou!" She exclaimed

My eyes widened in shock as she said those words. Poisoned. I thought of Bonnie, immediately, letting go of her and spinning her around to face me.

"What do you mean poisoned?"

"I was promised an antidote in return for your capture"

I felt a little relieved. At least there was an antidote.

"Who promised you?" I asked

"Alex. She said you released Rayna" Nora explained

"Incorrect. I'm guessing she only told you that to motivate you."

Thoughts raced through my head on what to do, I barely even heard what Nora was saying.

"My only motivation is Mary Louise! She's all I have in this world, and I will not let her die!"

She shoved me, but all I could think about was Bonnie. Could this kill her? I had to get my hands on that antidote right away. She kept shoving me, angrily.

"What's the matter? Huh? Afraid to hit me back?" She yelled

I held my hands up in a non-threatening gesture. If what Nora was saying was true, it seems we have more in common than not.

"I'm calling a truce"

"I don't want one!"

Time was something I didn't have. Fear of what might happen to Bonnie flooded through me. I grabbed Nora by the shoulders and looked her in the eyes.

"Listen to me! If those pills are fatal to witches, then you and I need to work together."

"Why should I trust you?" She asked
