Enzo's POV

Bonnie fell asleep, her head resting somewhere between my shoulder and my chest. I probably should've slept too, or eaten something... but instead I just sat there, my arms wrapped around her, holding her. She looked so peaceful.

I couldn't even look at myself after what I did. She tried to tell me it wasn't my fault, to not blame myself, but it was. I was the one who gave her the pills. Even if I wasn't trying to poison her I still gave them to her without knowing anything about them. I knew deep down she knew it too, she was just too good of a person to say it. But I wasn't gonna let this be the end. I was going to save her whatever it took.

The next morning after she woke up, we finished up packing and got ready to go.

"We have to talk to Rayna" Bonnie exclaims "It's her blood she probably knows something"

We were trying to come up with a plan to save her but up till now we had nothing.

"Way ahead of you" I tell her "I already tracked her down. She knows nothing"

Bonnie let out a disappointed sigh

"What now?"

"We still have to stay hidden so let's go back to the cabin and see if we can figure something out" I suggest

She walked over to me to grab some stuff on the counter

"You feel well enough to travel?" I ask "Cause the minute those anti-magic pills wear off Alex will be able to track you again"

"I feel fine" She shrugged walking back over to her bag on the bed and shoving everything into it, angrily "I don't feel sick at all" Her tone got sharper and angrier as she spoke. She was scared.

"I don't understand any of this" She sighed breathing in.

"Ah love... come here" I sighed sadly, walking towards her

I wrapped my arms around her from behind

"I can't believe this is happening" She sighs, closing her eyes

"It's not" I told her "... This is just a series of unfortunate events leading up to your ultimate salvation. I swear it"

Damon knocked on the door, where he had been all night and Bonnie rolled her eyes.

"Do I have to open the door?" She sighed.

I softly kissed her head before pulling my hands away and putting them on her shoulders, gently massaging them.

"He wants to help" I told her ".... and if I'm being completely honest we could use it"

"Great" She groaned

She walked over to the door opening it and turned around walking back towards me. Not a single glance at Damon.

"I have an idea" Damon piped up, still holding the flowers from yesterday.

Bonnie swerved to face him

"No!" She yelled "You do not speak to me. You speak to Enzo." She gestured towards me with her head.

I sighed internally but didn't say anything, letting her talk.

"If you have any ideas on how to keep me from dying I'm sure he'll be happy to hear them, but I don't wanna hear one word from your mouth, directed at me"

Damon stood there with his mouth open, clearly shocked by her anger. I, however, was used to it. After seeing her cry over him and hearing her rant about him its surprising she's even willing to let him help. Bonnie zipped up her bag and picked it up, handing it to me.
