Sarah Blake was having a party at her father's cottage in the forest. It was snowing outside and there were people who had been taking care of the cottage even the guests were present. Christmas music had been playing in the background as Sarah noticed the men who were dressed in fancy suits. They were good looking and Sarah wondered if anyone of them were available. She was down for a one-night stand, no point in her finding a husband. Sarah's hair had been flowing below her shoulders and she had been wearing a pretty green dress. Her friend Lena, who was her servant, was standing by her side.
"Sarah? Why aren't you going to talk to any of these people?" Lena asked. "There are plenty of good looking folks here,"
"Thanks Lena, you're right though," Sarah responded. "They are good-looking. I bet they're rich too,"
"Well, don't just stand there, socialize," Lena pushed Sarah forward but as Sarah was about to head to one man, she heard someone knocking on the cottage door. Confused, Sarah made her way over and pulled the door open. A crippled old man was standing on the other side, holding a small white rose.
"Can I help you?" Sarah said rudely. "Who are you? I don't recognize you from anywhere,"
"Forgive me," said the old man. "But I was hoping I could stay here, just for a few days, until I can find a place to live," he continued. "I've brought a white rose to symbolize the purest of hearts," Sarah scoffed. This was the best the old man could do? Find a singular white rose and expect that she'd let him in easily.
"Forget it, old man," Sarah said. "You don't belong here," she continued. "So get lost." Sarah closed the door in the man's face only to note that she was going to regret it. The man had not been happy since it was now revealed that she had no purity in her heart, not even love. It was time that she had learned a lesson. He pushed the door open as Sarah was walking away. Sarah turned to find that the man was now standing up straight. "What the hell?!"
"You are not pure!" yelled the old man. "You have no love in your heart and must therefore expect consequences!" the man glowed brightly as Sarah held up her hand. The bright light had died down, revealing a young man with a brown trench coat. He wasn't an old man anymore, but a young man in his mid-thirties. Lightning flashed as he revealed his feathers, showing that he was an angel.
"No, but..how?!" Sarah exclaimed. Everyone in the cottage had been scared they feared the angel was going to do something to them.
"Sarah Blake!" the angel said. "You have shown what is truly in your heart, therefore you will be cursed!" he continued. "Until you can find someone you love and who loves you in return, you will remain a hideous creature! You must find love before the last petal falls!" to prove his point, he had transformed Sarah into a hideous creature and made her hair lose all of her hair, she had become pale and it looked as if she were close to death, everyone who were in the house was stunned into silence, all the people except for a selected few had fled in fear. Once he had finished turning Sarah, he disappeared, leaving the flower in a small magical dome. Embarrassed by what she looks like, she had hidden herself away, not willing to step out into public looking the way she did. She hated what she had turned into, and all she could do now was wait for the right person to come and turn back the hands of time.
