"Kakuzu?" Tobi called out to the older male who sat at a table in the living room, counting out his money. The stitched man looked up at the man child with a glare, not having the patience to deal with him.
"What do you want?" he growled lowly as if to give the lollipop a warning that whatever he would say could give the possibility that he would be murdered. Tobi lifted something which caught Kakuzu's abnormally colored eyes. It was a bracelet, one which held a symbol which he knew very well. It was the same which his pain in the ass partner wore around his neck every day, the same the jerk would hold to his lips and whisper like a lunatic against.
"Tobi wants to know how much this pretty bracelet would cost?" Kakuzu grunted in response, returning to his counting.
"Give it back to Hidan before he comes to me looking for it." Tobi was quick to act and did as Kakuzu had told him, rushing over to the other side of the room where a lot of the other Akatsuki members were gathered. It was rare having so many of them out at a time but there were free to come and go as they pleased as long as they completed their assigned missions.
Tobi skipped over to Hidan who was talking to Deidara about something. Thankfully, they weren't arguing or both of them would've been murdered. There were a few members who had short tempers and not a lot of patience along with the fact that they were S-rank missing nin.
"Hidan~!" he sang, leaping into the empty seat beside the Jashinist. The man with slicked back silver hair glared daggers at the masked man, grabbing him by the front of his Akatsuki cloak in order to intimidate him.
"What the fuck do you want?" he asked rather rudely. Tobi didn't care about the tone he was spoken to in and moved on as if it hadn't happened.
"Kakuzu said I should give you back your bracelet." Hidan cocked an eyebrow, confused as to what the hell the man child was talking about.
"You little shit, I don't own a bracelet!" he yelled, feeling offended even thought the was nothing bad about what the ravenette had said.
"But it has to be yours. Kakuzu told Tobi it was yours and it has your triangles on it," he whined, lifting the bracelet which caught the attention of nearly everyone in the room. Hidan ripped it from Tobi's gloved hand and inspected it, raising an eyebrow. It had five Jashin pendants on it but it was too small to be for someone's neck, it was made to fit around someone's wrist.
"What the fuck? This isn't mine but no one else is a Jashinist here," he thought aloud, letting his eyes drift across the room so he could inspect the other members. It was a strange occurrence, no one else there would own something like that, they hated Hidan and his religion. So why was this bracelet with five Jashinist symbols here?
------------------------------------
You heaved a deep breath after leaving Pein's office and headed to the living room where you hoped to see Tobi. After your conversation with Pein all you could think about was the past, Tobi was a very good distraction since he was so energetic and full on. He was much like a child and you didn't mind that, you were very fond of children and wished to have your own in the future.
Entering the living room, you noticed how silent it was. Your footsteps were light but all heads turned in your direction when you entered.
"Is something wrong?" you asked, hoping that you wouldn't have to deal with anything right now. But when you saw your bracelet in Hidan's hands, your heart dropped. He was the one person who should never have seen that, a Jashinist who found out what you had done would surely try to kill you.
Hidan stared at you for a second before he stood, eyes widened.
"This is fucking yours, isn't it?" he accused in disbelief. Your face fell as your eyes grazed the string and metal which he held, his hands clenching around it tightly. His grip was so tight you thought you could see the metal of one of them bend. As if to stop him, you lifted your left hand but this just dug yourself a deeper hole. You usually forgot that this existed but...
There was a scar which covered the entirety of your palm in the shape of the Jashinist symbol.
"It is," he spat, seeming so angry that he didn't know what he should do. He charged over to you, grabbing you by the front of your cloak and slamming your back up against the wall. He applied pressure to your windpipe, trying to choke you but it didn't work. You could breath perfectly fine. Remaining passive, you held his gaze as he gripped tighter to your cloak.
"Why the fuck do you have that?! The fucking bracelet and the scar?!" he yelled in your face.
After having to face and break the heart of the man you love, you didn't have the patience for this. Lifting your leg, you kneed Hidan harshly in the stomach. His grip became loose, allowing you to push him back and away from yourself. It only took him a second to recover and when he did, he went in for another attack. But you stopped him, holding up your left hand so he could see this scar.
"You see this? Take another step and fucking test me, I'm the only one who can kill you," you warned him, finding enjoyment from seeing him realized that you were right. He swore under his breath and returned to his seat, pointing to the empty chair opposite him. You hated to listen to the bastard but complied, taking the seat which was in between Kisame and Itachi. Both turned to look at you as you sat, watching carefully.
Hidan threw your bracelet, allowing you to catch and hold it within the safety of your own hands once again. You were so glad to have it back, upset with yourself for not realizing that it was missing sooner. Looking up, you met Hidan's gaze, his finger pointing at you.
"You better start talking, bitch." Even though it was a rude and you could've just walked out, you decided to stay and talk. Hidan was an asshole, but he was the only Jashinist you had met since that day.
Gonna find out some more about (Y/n)'s past. The things which will be found out are set before she even goes to Amegakure and meets the orphans. These are things which will explain where she came from, her family, her ability etc. But I'll also go back to more Nagato x reader stuff since we haven't have any real flashbacks with them together. The next flashback will definitely be more Nagato x reader. Hope you enjoyed the chapter!
