Hogwarts Letter
Today was May 7, and my family and I were waiting anxiously. Today was the day I was supposed to get my letter to Ilvermorny.
We had been waiting for this day for ages. My family were all pure blood witches and wizards and all of them had went to Ilvermorny.
We were also a proud Christian family. Not many witches and wizards were so we made it our job to make disciples, no matter how hard it was.
"I hope I get sorted into Thunderbird!" I said very excited.
My mom nodded in agreement, "Just like your aunt!" She said enthusiastically.
"No. No. No. You obviously will be in Wampus. Just like me." My dad said grinning.
We all sat there laughing when they was a sudden noise. I looked up, confused.
Then I noticed the owl pecking at our window. Then I saw that it had a letter in it's claws, how peculiar?
My dad stood up and walked towards the window and let the owl in.
Then it flew over to me and dropped the letter by me. I bent down and scooped up the letter.

Deputy HeadmistressMy parents and I starred at the letter in shock. Was this seriously real.
Then my mom's head jerked up, "Wait a second. I think my cousins went to Hogwarts. I believe they mentioned it in their letters." She said smiling thoughtfully.
"Wait a second does that mean we're going to move?" I asked still in shock.
"Well...yes, but I'm sure we can handle it. I mean if it's God's will, it shall be done." My dad reasoned and we all nodded in agreement, though I was still unsure.
I mean what about all my friends? What am I supposed to tell them? I mean we all planned out what we were going to do at Ilvermorny.
I let out a small sigh, "Okay. Should we get started?"
My parents nodded and we started to pack and write goodbye letters.
"I know we have a house there so we don't need to worry about that. Number 10 Grimmauld Place. Now let's apparate. Everyone got their things?" My mom said as we all hooked arms.
"Ready." Dad and I said together.

When we were there I looked at our surroundings. It was organized but very, very dusty.
"Why don't we look around for bogarts and doxys?" My dad suggested.
We all split up. I found no bogarts (thank goodness) and maybe six or seven doxys. I even found a few eggs, which we put in jars and stored away.
When I was all settled in I went downstairs for Bible study. Today we read Jeremiah 29:11,
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
We talked about the verse and then prayed. Then my mom made an announcement, "Okay, tomorrow we are going to Diagon Ally to get Emily's school supplies." She told dad.
He nodded and then I went to bed. Who knew so much could happen in one day?
