We're not blending
We're not integrating
This melting pot's not hot enough
to combine all these races
We're not all one people
I doubt we'll ever be
America has no freedoms
It's no sainted sanctuary
The floodgates have burst open
and everyone's rushing in
They're pushing out the locals
and those who were born here
We're being forced out
with no place for us to go
Why can't they all go home?
But where is home these days?
How about we abolish America
and make it free land up for grabs again?
That would be entertaining
since, under these legalities,
that's exactly what America is!
(Poet's Note: I would just like to point out that I wrote this in 2006. I was 16. I was the victim of learned prejudice.)
