It takes just as much courage to die as it does to live
So why does nobody praise those who die the same as those who go on living?
They call those who commit suicide cowards,
but the real cowards are the ones who just continue because it's easy
Suicide takes so much planning, calculating, considering
We are conditioned from birth to fear death,
but those who learn to hate living overcome that fear
They fight their mind's hesitation to commit to danger
and they win
I think that takes just as much courage as
facing each oncoming day with strength
As for me, I am not brave
I cannot face the agony of living in this world,
but I am not brave enough to die
Where is my courage?
