Saved by the stranger- ch. six

Natsu's pov:
It's been 7 long hours in my office. During those 7 hours I invited all my friends that I found out were also Lucy's friends to come over to check on her. Lisanna, Mira, Erza, Juvia, and Levy all tackle her while crying. They were obviously worried. I then asked a question I was dying to know. "So how do you guys know each other?" They all look at me with smiles and Gajeel explains "After you left school to take over this place Lucy came in a month later. She first met Levy and it went uphill from there." he grinned.

After they all left I looked at my clock and it was 9:26 pm. They had to go because they had school tomorrow seeing it was Sunday night. I put my stuff up and looked at Lucy who was asleep on my couch. Well it has been for 3 hours now while I caught up with everyone. I stand up and walk to her. I pick her up gently, being careful not to wake her up.

I enter the elevator and it starts to go down. People entered, greeted me, talked about how cute and fragile Lucy looked, talked about business, then exited. Finally we got to the first floor. I exit as people enter while also being careful not to bump me so they didn't wake Lucy up.

I walk up to Willow's desk and greet her "Oh hello Mr. Dragneel- oh I see Lucy is asleep." She smiled and I nodded. "Lucy helped me organize all of my paperwork today- well more like organized it all by herself while I talked to a friend. She organized it from Business payments, business alliances, and business meetings. I didn't lock my office up. Do you mind sending the rest of the paperwork out that I didn't get to?" She nodded with a wide smile "Of course Sir! It'd be my pleasure!" I smile at her and thank her. "I'll be back in a few days to check up on things. You have my number, so give me a call if anything goes wrong." She nods and gets back to work as I walk out and to my car.

Once I get to my car I open the passenger side and set Lucy in gently. I buckle her up and close the door. I head to my side and jump in. I drive off while listening to some music.

I get to the house and do the code on the fence to get in. It opens and I drive through. I park my car and quietly get out as I walk around to get Lucy. I open the door and pick her up. She began to open her eyes a bit "Hmm.. Natsu.." she said in a half asleep voice. "Shh.. just go back to sleep. We're home" she slowly nods and closes her eyes again.

I walk inside and see some maids cleaning. I see Hadly and she sees me "Oh hello, sir." she bows a little and I walk past her "Follow me." she nods and follows me up the stairs and to Lucy's room. She opens Lucy's door for me and I walk in. I head over to the bed and set her down. "I want you to get her ready for bed please" she nods again as I walk out.

Lucy's pov:
I open my eyes slightly as I hear a soft voice calling my name "ma..ma?" I say quietly "No, Lucy, it's Hadly." I open my eyes more and see Hadly, one of the maids. I sit up a little and look around "Where am I?" Hadly giggles a bit "You're back at Natsu's mansion." I nod and she begins to undo my braids. I moved up a little so she could get on the bed and sit behind me to undo them. She crawls onto the bed and begins to undo the braids.

"So Hadly? How long have you been here?" I asked and she was glad to answer "Ever since I was 11 and Brett was 14. Natsu's father and mother took us in. I am the same age as you and Natsu. When Natsu's parents were assassinated two years ago we were all sad, but not as sad as Natsu. He had to take on Dragneel inc. at age 16. He was awfully young. It wasn't a shock that he kept all of us here as well and Dragneel inc. workers, we are like his family and he learned well from his parents that you never betray family. No matter the cost." I smile as she finishes up talking and taking out the braids. "Wow.. Do you have anything else you can tell me about him?" She nodded "Of course I do, but first you must take a shower."

I got done with my shower and Hadly had helped me pick a night dress. Once I'm in my night dress we both sat down on my bed and she began to tell me so much more about Natsu. Some parts I cried, others I laughed, then some I smiled. She gets done telling me stories about him and stands up. "Well I must head to my room and sleep, Miss Lucy." I nod and wave her off "Alright then. Goodnight, Hadly." she smiles "Goodnight, Miss Lucy." She left and I lay there thinking to myself.

About 3 hours went by and I still could not go to sleep. Now I'm wondering.. Gajeel said I came along after a month of Natsu leaving school to take over Dragneel inc. It makes sense now, but... why was I talked about to Natsu by all of them.. but never was told about Natsu?

I look at the clock in my room and see it's 1:34 a.m. I sigh and get out of bed. I begin to think of what I could do. I walk to my door and slowly open it. I slip out and begin to walk around the whole second floor. Once I'm done exploring it, I head to the first floor. I then begin to explore it as well. I walk past the main door and it's all dark. Something in the corner of my eye catches my attention. I look over to the big door. I then catch my breath in my throat. I cover my mouth as I see two figures looking into either side of the glass. Then I hear someone at the door trying to unlock it. I was thankful that it was dark inside so they couldn't see me.

I quickly, but quietly run up the stairs. I hurry and run to Natsu's room. I tried to open it, but it was locked. I began to cry. If I yelled there is a 17% chance the people outside will hear. What if I bang on the door? Damnit! This is no time for worrying about that. I began to bang on Natsu's door.

Natsu's pov:
I hear banging on my door and quickly sit up. I get out of bed and rush to my door. I open it to see Lucy crying and shaking. "Lucy?! Oh my God?! What's wrong?!" She runs into my room and behind me. "S-someone's trying to break in downstairs!" Her voice was unstable and I turned around and hugged her "Stay in here. I'm going to gather up the few maids and butlers that live here and they will come in here with you. Alright?" She looks at me like I'm an idiot "No! Please don't leave me here by myself!" She sobbed loudly "Lucy! Listen to me! I said alright? You will be safe here." She slowly nodded and I left the room.

Lucy's pov:
It's been a minute or two then all of a sudden I hear a loud crash behind me like it was shattering glass. I was frozen. I couldn't move, I was too scared to. I then hear someone say "Found her boss."
