Saved by the stranger- ch. seven

Natsu's pov:
I gathered up a few maids and Butlers along with Brett. As we were getting closer to my bedroom we all hear a loud crash and then a scream "Lucy!" I yell. I begin to run faster and once I get to my room I sling the door open to see Lucy, but she had a gun up to her head. Whatever movements I was making I stopped. "MOVE ANOTHER STEP AND HER HEAD IS GETTING BLOWN OFF!" The man holding the gun to Lucy's head says.

Lucy was crying and sobbing loudly. It hurts my soul to hear this come from her mouth. I growl, but try to control myself. "Lucy, are you-" I was cut off by the same guy "NO SPEAKING UNLESS SPOKEN TO!" I was so close to losing my temper, but again I controlled it.

I glance back to see the maids and butlers have a worried expression even Brett. I looked back to the guy "Good, now me and the girl are going to back up.." he said as he was walking backwards and so was Lucy. She yelped out in pain. My eyes instantly shoot to her feet to see she has no shoes on and is stepping in glass.

Wait.. is he planning on jumping out of the window?!

I watched helplessly as they got closer and closer to the window. I finally made direct eye contact with Lucy "Natsu.. help me!" After that he jumps still holding Lucy. "LUCY!" I scream. I run to the window as fast as possible and look out. There I see Lucy landed safely. I watched as three other men along with the one holding Lucy ran off.

I punched the wall next to me, making a huge hole. I turn quickly to the others "SEARCH THE PERIMETER NOW!" They all nod and run down the stairs quickly. I jumped out of the window and landed on the ground safely.

I'm coming, Lucy!

Lucy's pov:
I was being dragged along and I could tell these guys were unfamiliar with the layout of the place. So was I, but I had an idea. I quickly stopped in my tracks making the guy dragging me almost make me fall forward, but I put whatever force I had in my body to stay still. He looked back at me and yelled "YOU DUMB BITCH!" He pulled me to him and had his fist in a ball. He was about to punch me when I duck and knee him in the gut. He let go of me and I quickly backed away. The other three guys look at us. They look at the man on the ground then to me. They get this evil aura around them and just stare at me.

They circle around me. I look at them all quickly. Suddenly they all run at me. Right before they could grab me I duck and move out of the way. They bump into each other and land on top of the other guy. I snicker and quickly turn on my heel, running away.

I find myself in the woods. "Jesus, Natsu told me he has gates all around his house. How many acres does the man own?!" I say out loud to myself as I continue running. I find an old shed and hesitate to go inside until I hear yelling close behind me. It's the guys again. I run inside the shed and close the door. I scurry away into a dark corner and get into the fetal position.

I soon hear footsteps. I had tears streaming down my face as I covered my mouth with both of my hands. My heart was racing and I was genuinely terrified. Many questions and thoughts filled my head.

What are they going to do when they find me? What if they don't find me and I get lost out here? I'm scared.. I want my mom.. I want Natsu. This is exactly like a horror movie come to life. Am I going to die here? My feet hurt like hell! They are all bloody and cut. Stepping on all of those sticks and rocks didn't help after the glass!

I was pulled from my thoughts by someone banging on the door of the shed. The door flung open and I saw two of the guys enter. "YO! I FOUND HER!" One yelled while the other inched closer to me. He grabbed me, pulling me up to my feet. "Oh what pain I have in store for you." He smirked. "NO! LET GO OF ME!" I scream in terror as he drags me out of the shed by my hair.

He threw me on the ground and they all four circled around me. I felt out of strength, I felt weak, vulnerable even. They begin to attack me. Like hitting me, kicking me, etc. I felt like I was at my dad's house again. The beatings and name calling. It's awful, I hate it!

Out of nowhere the pain stopped, but I was still scared to open my eyes or to even get up out of my position on the ground. I was folded into a little ball. I hear grunts and yelps. All of a sudden a hand was placed on my head and I flinched. I sobbed loudly as rivers of tears streamed from my eyes.

I heard a soft "sh" a few times. The person picked me up bridal style, cradling me in their- well a him in his arms. "Lucy? Are you alright?" I knew that voice. I look up to see Brett. He had a worried expression on his face. Sorta like a brotherly feeling. I stopped crying for a second before I began again while clutching onto his shirt for dear life.

As he walked back we didn't exchange any words. There was no need to. I calmed down about two minutes ago as I quietly lay in his arms with my head on his chest. I felt safe and loved. Wow.. how many of my guy friends are going to feel like brothers to me? I mentally laugh at my own thought.

I hope Natsu is not too worried.
