Saved by the stranger- ch. two

Natsu's pov:
We were already almost to my house. I looked over to the girl and she was looking out the window, with her knees to her chest. "Your name is Lucy right?" I asked and she tenses up. She turned to me and simply nodded. I decided to be blunt "How often does he hurt you?" She just shrugged and looked down "Lucy, how often did he hurt you?" She stayed silent for a good minute or two then said "He started to hurt me when I was 4... after my mother died" I felt angry and it's only going to get worse from here. "How old are you now?"

"I'm... I'm 18.." I felt myself grit my teeth "Every day?" She just simply nodded. I felt the anger build even more. I tried my hardest to contain it so I won't scare her. "I promise you Lucy, I'll take good care of you. Something he didn't do for the longest time. I even have a few good rooms open that you can pick." She looked up at me and nodded.

We got to my house and Lucy's eyes widened "T-This is your house?!" She squealed and I nodded "Yup, do you like it?" I asked and she nodded "I can't believe it.. it's so beautiful it's a little bigger than fathers.. wait.. you're only 18 so do you still live with your parents?" I shook my head "Nope, I live alone- well I have a few maids and butlers that live here." She nodded and we got out of the car.

We enter and she is so amazed about how beautiful it is. She gasps and looks in every direction. I smile and the thought of knowing I can make her happy just overwhelms me with joy. I want to give her a better life than her father gave her. "Let's go see which rooms are open alright?" She nods and follows me.
