Lucy's pov:
I follow her down the big hall and we pass by a picture I never noticed before. It was a huge painting of what looked like younger Natsu and what looked like his parents, but there was another boy by Natsu. He looked a little older then him and had black hair like the lady. I started getting a sad vibe from the painting and I guess I zoned out because Keely tapped my shoulder and I jumped a bit. "Are you alright Lucy?" I look at her then back to the painting. I nod and look away from the family picture. "Yes, I'm fine. Please, keep leading the way Keely" she hesitantly nods and continues walking. I follow her, but glance back at the pictures once more.

We get to the dining room and I sit down in one of the big chairs. I look around and I don't see Natsu. "Keely, where is Natsu?" She looked around as well and sighs. "Let me go look. Stay right here" she leaves and I peak out from behind the big chair. I was now in there alone. I sat back in my seat and slouched. "Where is-" I was cut off by muffled cries. I look around, startled. "No.. not again.." I look back to the door behind me.

Should I wait for them to come back? I really want to know what those cries of pain are so badly..

I quietly stand up and tip toe to the door. I open it and it creeks a bit startling me. I stand there frozen for a minute, but work up the courage to open it all the way. I look around and I don't see anyone.

Where is everyone?

I take in a deep breath and step out. I look back at the door and contemplated if I should shut it and risk a loud noise. I shake my head and leave it open. I began to quietly walk down the west hallway. Just a little frightened of what I might find.

As I continued to walk I hear yet another cry, but this time it was louder. "So... I'm getting close.." I whisper to myself. I stand there for a second to listen for more cries. Not even 20 seconds later I hear another one making me jump in fear, yet I continue to walk towards the sound. I payed real close attention to my surroundings. I was about to walk past a door, but I stopped in my tracks and looked at it. I shifted my body and was now facing it completely. It had a very odd aura around it and it sent chills down my spine.

I backed away from it, but only just a bit. I stood in front of that door for what seemed like hours, but for sure it was a few minutes in reality, very long dreadful minutes. I took a deep breath and walked to it, reaching out my hand for the handle. I noticed my hand shaking like it's never done before. I was so scared to know what was behind this door, but then again I needed to know what those cries are and why they are here.

Finally my hand gripped the knob and I slowly turned it. I heard clicking from the door as I turned the handle. I suddenly felt so determined so I quickly swung the door open.

Natsu's pov:
I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist. I stared into the foggy mirror. I wiped some of the fog away with my hand to see my face.

What if I can't fulfill that role? I don't want to put anyone in harms way.. especially Lucy..

I heard a knock on my bathroom door. "Who is it?" I ask and then I heard Keely's voice. "Master Natsu, Breakfast is waiting and so is Lucy" I quickly open the door and bow. "Keely, I'm so sorry of how I treated you before. Please except my apology!" She was shocked at first then smiled "Master Natsu, I of course forgive you. Now no more dillydallying, it's time to get dressed and eat."

I stand up straight and smile at her as I nod. "Right, I'll get dressed right away." She gives me an 'ok' and leaves to wait outside my bedroom door. I hurriedly get some cloths on and rush out of my room fast. Keely jumps a bit. I put my hands on my knees, panting. She growls and hits me in the back of my head. "Don't scare me like that!" I rub the back of my head and look up at her "Sorry, Keely" I say as I give her my signature toothy grin.

I stand up and look at her "I'm sorry, shall we go?" She nods and leads me to the dining room. I suddenly got a weird feeling in my stomach. I stop in my tracks and blank out.

What is this feeling? Wait... didn't Keely say she left Lucy alone?

I became upset and run past Keely, leaving her behind. "MASTER NATSU?!" I hear her yell in shock, but I ignore it. I run down the main staircase and straight for the dining hall. Once I get there I saw the door wide open. I stood there, frozen and scared I wouldn't see Lucy in there. I was about to move until Keely ran to my side. "Master Natsu, what is wrong with- huh?" She looked at the open door curiously. "Why is that open? I was sure I closed it once I left."

I looked at her quickly then ran inside the dining hall. "LUCY?!" I yell, but there was no one in there. "Master Natsu? What's going on-" I turned on my heel and ran out.

I'm sure I know where she is!

I started to run to run towards the west wing hallway. Once I entered it I see a small figure near the end opening a door.

Lucy?! Don't!

She quickly opens the door as she had her eyes closed. I was about to reach her when all of a sudden I was stopped in my tracks.

Lucy's pov:
I opened it... I'm scared to open my eyes.. but I'll do it!

As soon as I was opening my eyes the door closes and I let go of the handle. I looked up and saw a hand on the door. I quickly turned around and saw Brett. I jumped in fear as I noticed his whole aura has changed. I teared up from fear as I backed away. My back hit the door and it startled me for a second. I looked up into his eyes and I am terrified.

"Brett, are you alright? Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?"
