Saved by the stranger- ch. ten

Natsu's pov:
I watched as Brett brutally beat them on and off again. It's been at least 20 minutes and I walk over to the one they call 'boss' and crouch down to him. "Why the hell did you guys come here and what did you want from Lucy?" He coughed up blood and shot me a glare. "I ain't tellin you fucking shit!" He yelled and I stood up. I glared back at him, making him stop and cower away.

I looked at Brett and he knew. He walked over to him and began to brutally beat the living shit out of him. As he was doing that I again asked "What the HELL were you mother fuckers doing here and why try to take Lucy?!" He screams out in pain as I continue to glare at him. He doesn't answer so I stop Brett. He stepped back and there was a long pause. "FUCKING ANSWER ME!" I yell and kick him in the head, knocking a tooth or two out.

He was breathing heavily, coughing, and curled up into a ball. "P-please.. st-" I lifted him up by his neck, choking him. "Answer. Me." I demand as he grabs my arm with both of his hands, trying his hardest to escape, but I won't allow it. I tighten my grip making it harder for him to breathe. "Why would I stop if you hurt Lucy? Give me ONE reason I shouldn't kill you right now!" I growl.

Lucy's pov:
Keely, Nova, and Hadly follow me out into the hallway as we look both ways. "Where is that coming from?" Nova asked a little sketched out. "I don't know, but it's creepy!" Hadly states and hides behind Keely. "I'm sorry we didn't believe you before, Lucy." Keely adds after the other two.

I look at them and give a smile "it's alright.. but let's find out what this noise is. It's kinda giving me the chills.." they all nod and I lead the way to where I think the sounds are coming from.

We make it all the way to the west side of the mansion. We say nothing as the screams get closer than ever. "This is really scary.. we should leave it alone and get Natsu." Hadly says as she is shaking and looks like she is about to pass out from fear. I look back at her in regret. I rushed over to her quickly. "I'm so sorry, you're right. Let's head back.. I'm sure it's nothing anyways." I say to comfort her. Shockingly it works and we leave as quickly as possible.

Once we get back to my room they bandage my wounds and leave to get done with all of their chores for the day. They were going to make breakfast for Natsu and I first. Which reminded me, I haven't seen Natsu since an hour ago. I hope he is ok. I lay on my bed thinking for a minute or two. "Oh! I got it!" I jump out of my bed quickly and rush to the door.

Natsu said something about having a library here. And it's supposed to be huge! "So let's go find it!" I say aloud to myself. I walked around and finally found it downstairs in the East wing. I take a deep breath in and then out. "Ok, let's see how huge.." I open the door and my eyes widen. "WOAH!"

I smile brightly and begin to go in every direction excitedly.

Natsu's pov:
It's been over an hour and the only information we got from them was their names! This is pointless right now and if they don't give up any more information today I might accidentally kill them. "Come on Brett. They are passed out and they aren't going to crack today. Let's just go." He nods and we leave. As we get back upstairs to the first floor Brett and I look at each other. We were basically bathing in blood. I sigh and tell him to go take a shower as I'll do the same. He nods and we go our separate ways.

I get to my room to see no more glass on the floor and the window replaced. "Alright.." I stripped my clothes off and was about to walk into my bathroom only in my boxers. That's when my doors burst open and I see Keely. "Master Natsu, are you-" she stops and looks at me in shock and fear. "I'm so sorry! I didn't know- wait! Is that blood?!" She came rushing over to me trying to see where a wound would be.

"Master Nastu, you are not injured so where did this blood come from?" She asked without hesitation. I just push her away and walk into the bathroom. "Go check on Lucy and leave me the hell alone." I say coldly. I close and lock the bathroom door. "Yes sir.." I hear Keely say in a sad tone. I hear her leave and close the door. "Dammit... I've never acted cruel to any of my maids or butlers.." I sigh and take a shower.

Lucy's pov:
I was at a table in the library reading one of the thirteen or so books I found. It is called Laired of the mist. So far it is great!

I hear my name being shouted and I shoot my head up. "Keely?" I whisper to myself and stand up. It sounded like she was in the library. I was far in the back in a little weird hidden place with a small table. I listen to her voice and follow it. "KEELY?!" I yelled and there was a short pause. "LUCY, WHERE ARE YOU?!" I giggle "MEET ME AT THE FRONT DOOR!" She gives me an "ok" I head there with all of my books in hand.

Once I get there she is already standing there with a smile. "What's up Keely?" I ask in a little confusion. She opens the door "breakfast is ready"
