Once upon a time, in a land called Pàrras, a young girl lived with her father in a small wooden house above a bakery. It was the family bakery, named 'Currie's Bread & Bakes', and young [y/n] Currie worked there ever since she was eight years old, after her mother died.
[y/n] helped her father with work as well as taking care of the house. During the day she would be at the bakery making delicious treats that the whole town would line up to buy, or helping around town to mow someone's lawn, feed someone's farm animals or sell some goods.[y/n] enjoyed her days. She enjoyed the uniqueness each day brought to her life, even though it sounded very plain.
But one day, she realized that the literal apple-pie life wasn't something she really wanted anymore. [y/n] wanted something different, and she was determined to find it.
She explored across the land, searching for that one thing that would change herself. She tried something new everyday, hiking and discovering new places and meeting new people. She learnt skills and knowledge from everyone she met and everywhere she went...
But she still felt empty. There was still a puzzle piece missing from her heart.
On a cool winter morning, she opened the doors to the bakery after making numerous sesame and oats bread loafs while her father went into town to give off the remaining bread from yesterday to the local farmers as animal feed.As [y/n] unlocked the doors to the townspeople, she heard a familiar voice coming from what she guessed was the town square.
She found herself wander off, following the sound of the voice until she realized exactly who was talking.
It was Prince James II, standing by the monument of the King, his father, and giving an announcement of some sort.
"... And it is my great pleasure to welcome the people of Pàrras to the castle for a Royal Ball this end of the week on Sunday," Prince James II told the crowd that watched him in awe, "Please attend the event, I will be looking forward to all of you arriving!"
And like a sharp breeze, enough to cool her off from the hot atmosphere near the ovens in the bakery, Prince James walked away form the town square, escorted by the castle guards.
[y/n] watched him silently. She could have sworn that as he was speaking, he had glanced to her for a moment. Was she over exaggerating? Maybe. Was she having wishful thoughts? Probably. But one thing was clear, that Prince James was the final puzzle piece in her life that she found at last.

[y/n] was determined to find a way to get closer to Prince James. It wasn't something from a fairy tale, they have known each other since they were little. King James I had helped her father when her mother had passed on. He was the one that aided with the establishment of the bakery.
That's how Prince James II and [y/n] became friends... although now they've gone back to mere acquaintances.
[y/n] always felt that there was something more than friendship with Prince James II, even when she was young. She never realized it till now.
[y/n] found of details of a local Medicine Man that helps cure everyone's illnesses. [y/n] was not sick but she hooped that the Medicine Man would be able to help her. The townspeople say that he works 'miracles'.
After much work with getting a meeting with the Medicine Man, [y/n] was told of a special potion that could make her dreams come true.
"This is called 'Gaoil',"The Medicine Man informed, with his back hunched over his concocting table, as he gave her a small red glass bottle that was filled with a transparent liquid.
While [y/n] examined the object, the Medicine Man started to narrate, "A love potion that will grant your desires, a potion that would bring one to admire. Use it wisely, use it well. It shall cast your love under a spell. Unless the other has feelings too, this potion would say it's last adieu... and you shall never speak to the other once more."
His words placed a dark fear in [y/n]'s heart, something that pushed her away from carrying on with this task. She questioned how worth it the result would be. If Prince James II does not love her back, she wouldn't be able to have another chance ever again.
She said farewell to the Medicine Man, a man that was as mysterious as one could be, then set off back home to contemplate on her final decision.
But little did she know that the only reason Prince James II announced a royal ball was to approach and woo [y/n] Currie.
Oh, the happiness she would feel, if she kept the unreal aside and let nature do its right.
But [y/n] had to take the chance, she had never felt enough admiration for anyone else... and Prince James II was about to make that much more easier for her.
A happily ever after would be seen, at the Royal Ball with the Prince, the King and The Queen.
