how do you feel about the story so far :/
***The next morning was the same. I woke up to say goodbye to Gabriel. After I finished with his tie, he pulled his black leather wallet out of his pocket.
I stared at him in confusion when he handed me a black American Express card.
"Use it to pay for your dress." He said gruffly, and then put his wallet back, still holding the card out to me.
"It's fine. I have my own money,"
"Adelaide use it. My money is your money," his voice softened a bit and I look down at the card.
"It still feels wrong. And this is very trusting of you. I don't even trust myself to touch it," I reply honestly.
If I had something like that in my possession I would flip out and then lose after ten seconds of having it. He just clenches his jaw in annoyance and sets it on his night stand.
He looks back towards me before pressing his lips to mine.
"Use it," he commands and it try not to whimper at his dominating voice.
After he left, I went back to sleep. Around 9 I woke up to meet with Lilly at ten.
I got ready and then looked at credit card on his nightstand.
It was very trusting of him to leave that with me. Not because I was going to spend a lot of money but because I lose things very easily.
I'm a very forgetful person and he basically just left me in charge of his bank. Begrudgingly, I took the card and slid it into my wallet. It was going to stay there until Gabriel got back and I could give it to him.
After eating breakfast and I then headed to Alpha Donnelly's house.
Lilliana was ready to leave and she plopped herself inside the car. Both of us had large coats on because it was so cold and I could see the tip of her nose was a little red because of the cold.
"Are you ready?" I asked.
"I guess. How do you feel about it though? Like the whole getting married thing?" she says as she plugged in her phone for music.
"I mean, I'm not super okay with it but it's fine I guess. How about you?"
Lilly just shrugged her shoulders, "I mean I like Kaden but it's so soon you know,"
My grip on the steering wheel tightens, "yeah I feel that."
We pull up to the boutique and I look at Lilly. She didn't look sad but she didn't look happy either. I guess we were both nervous.
But I was a little sad. I thought that when we would go to a bridal boutique together we would be happy and cheerful, giggling like school girls we were. Yet here we are, and I don't think either of us had smiled on the way here.
