My face furrowed in aggravation and I opened my eyes to a dark dingy prison. The ceiling was molding with obvious water damage, hence the drips and quickly wiped my face.
My head was pounding and every single part of my body was sore. What did they give me?
I slowly sat up from the concrete floor and cracked my neck. I looked around the cell, and found that I was caged in by three concrete walls and steel bars. In the corner was a passed out Lilliana.
I slowly crawled over to her, my back and hip cracking as I did so, and gently pushed her so she would wake up. Her eyes fluttered open and she let out a dry cough that I winced at.
"They kidnapped us? Are you fucking kidding me?" she said hoarsely and then followed it up with another cough.
Cheese and crackers, my head feels horrible.
I stood up slowly, but vision became doubled and I still had to support myself on the concrete wall. Lilly stood up and helped stand up straighter.
"Take it easy there cowboy,"
"Why does my head hurt so much?" I asked, resting it against the wall.
"I don't know, maybe the concussion? Sleeping on concrete? Being drugged? There are a lot of factors."
Lilly looked at me with concern, "I know you want to get out of here, but we're gonna have to wait just a little bit for you to regain your strength. You know that."
I nodded my head. She was right and who knows? Maybe in that time Gabriel and Alpha Kaden will have rescued us by then. However, that was wishful thinking. These rogues were smart.

I really wished he was here. I really wished I was with him. Normally during the work day he was gone, but I knew that he'd come back.
