Christmas day started with me having an aching back. Probably from Gabriel's roughness and another from sleeping on the ground.

I still in his office on the ground, the blankets tightly wound around me, which only Gabriel could have done because when I sleep the blankets go flowing all over the place. Gabriel was also nowhere in sight.

I groaned and slowly got up. I cracked my back and held the blankets tightly to my chest before walking out and heading to the bathroom. After a quick shower and getting dressed in sweatpants and a sweatshirt, I finally went downstairs.

Under the tree was a massive amount of presents that had not been there the night before. A couple of them were mine for Gabriel but I didn't recognize the others. I turned my head away, thinking that most of them were probably just from pack members to Gabriel.

Zeus ran up to me, bouncing up excitedly. The Santa hat on his head swung back and forth. I smiled at the sight. It took Gabriel a lot of convincing and some sexual favors, but he finally allowed me to put a Santa hat on Zeus.

And he looked adorable.

I scratched behind his ear and he followed me into the kitchen, where Gabriel was drinking a cup of coffee.

Just looking at him and remembering last night made my cheeks warm. I looked down and walked to the fridge. When I walked past him and I told Merry Christmas again. I take out the orange juice and he grabs it from me.

He presses my body to him and all I can do is stare.

Gabriel was one attractive mother hugger.

"Did you see the presents?" he asked.

I nod my head, "yeah. Are they from pack members?"

He scoffs a little, "No Adelaide, they're for you. From me."

My eyes widen.

Can he take them back? Yes, I'll admit I got him a few things and some of those things drained my bank account, but the ratio of his presents to mine was uncalled for. There was no way it was fair.
