Klaus sang about Anna. He sang about how she was a beautiful person. He sang about how he wakes up every morning with a smile on his face, knowing that he was going to see her. He sang about what it's like falling in love with her every day.
Watching him on stage made Anna emotional. She cried like she's never cried before. He watched her the entire time he performed, wanting more than nothing for her to see that the words coming out of his mouth were in fact the truth and that he was indeed falling head over heels in love with her.
"Oh, Anna I love you." Klaus finished before the entire cafe erupted in applause. Klaus bowed, causing Anna to laugh and wipe the tears off of her face.
Klaus made his way over to her, ignoring the girls that tried to get his attention. He had his eyes set on one girl and only one girl. Anna.
Before she could process what was happening, Klaus took her by her waist and pull her towards him, kissing the day lights out of her.
"Be mine." He said in-between kisses. "Be my girlfriend, officially."
"I'd love to."
"Lets get out of here." Klaus said slamming down a bunch of cash on their table for their food and drinks before grabbing her hand, pulling her out of the cafe into the warm night.
Anna didn't know what to think. She hadn't expected this to happen when Klaus told her to get ready because he was taking her out. But she knew that when it came to Klaus, he was full of surprises. She was starting not to hate all of them.
"What in the actual hell Klaus?" Anna laughed as they made their way back to her house. "Did that actually just happen?"
"I know." Klaus said, just as shocked as her. He didn't know if he'd actually go through with it.
"And who knew that you could sing like that?"
"Just me, I guess." He shrugged.
"How did I get so lucky?" Anna gushed.
"I could ask myself the same thing."
"What's so good about me?" Anna asked. "I can't sing, dance, or do just about anything."
"You have a kind heart." Klaus told her. "And that's all that matters to me."
"Did you mean what you said earlier?" Anna asked Klaus when they finally arrived to her house.
"Did I mean what?" Klaus asked, acting clueless. He laughed when Anna made a face at him.
She shoved him playfully, "Did you mean it when you said that you love me?"
"Of course I meant it," Klaus said, "or I wouldn't have said it."
Anna looked at the man standing in front of her. She didn't understand why she deserved someone like him. She wasn't pretty nor was she smart. She was insecure and couldn't fully open up to anyone, even if she tried. But she found herself opening up to Klaus very easily.
"Now it's your turn to tell me that you love me." Klaus said.
Anna blushed, now at a loss for words.
"Unless you don't love me," Klaus said, beginning to over think. "Which I would fully understand. I'm nothing special-"
Anna stopped his rant with a kiss, "Of course I love you doofus."
"Don't ever call me that again." Klaus scrunched up his nose at the nickname that she'd been non-stop calling him lately.
"But I like it."
"And I love you." Klaus said for the second time that night. They both looked away from each other when Klaus's mom's car pulled into the driveway. Klaus sighed. "I seriously need to get a car."
"Bye boyfriend." Anna said when Klaus made his way to the car.
Klaus turned around and grinned at her, "Bye girlfriend."
