Klaus was completely unaware that both his mom and his girlfriend were on their way to London to visit him.

After four months of planning and a lot of paperwork later, they both set off for a long flight to Klaus. Klaus's father was informed of their visit, but they all wanted to keep it a surprise from Klaus. He definitely was going to be thrilled when he got to see Anna after over four months of being away.

Klaus's mom had to take off work and was surprised that when she asked for so many days of leave they didn't fire her on the spot. But she never found herself taking off days and her job was aware of Klaus's illness, so maybe they felt bad.

"Anna dear, are you okay?" Klaus's mom asked when they got to the airport. Anna nodded her head, but on the inside she was completely nervous. She had always been afraid of flying and the heights that came with it. "Did you take the pills your mom gave you?"

"No." Anna shook her head. She look around at all of the people that too were probably going to visit someone that they love or just simply go on some overly expensive vacation.

After a while, she took the pills out of her bag and swallowed them down with some water.

"There, now when we board the plane you'll be ready." Klaus's mom smiled at her. "He's going to be so excited."

"Who?" Anna asked when they sat down.

"Klaus, of course." Klaus's mom giggled. "Every time I call him, he always babbles on and on about how much he misses you. He barely even talks about missing me."

When Anna realized that Klaus's mom had a sad expression on her face, she reached over and grabbed her hand in hers.

"He misses you too, you know?" Anna said. "He talks about how much he misses your cooking and how much a brighter person that you are than his father is."

"He's trying," Klaus's mom said. "His father, I mean. He's trying to get to know Klaus more because he hasn't had the chance to in years. At least he's trying." Klaus's mom sounded like she was trying to convince herself.

"You know who I'm not really looking forward to seeing?" Anna said.

"Who?" Klaus's mom asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Micah." Anna admitted. "I know that he's come around to being a better person, I just hate what he did to Klaus."

"Anna," Anna felt something nudge her, causing her to open her eyes and meet Klaus's mom's face. "We have to board the plane now."

"Oh sorry." Anna apologized and grabbed her things, following Klaus's mom on the plane. To her disbelief, Anna felt calm and had to remember to give her mom a call to thank her for the pill when they landed.

"You okay?" Klaus's mom asked her when they finally took their seats.

Anna had the pleasure of sitting near the window. She pulled the blinds up and was met with nothing more than just the concrete. She couldn't wait for them to be up in the air so she could see all of the pretty clouds and whatnot.

"I am." Anna nodded. "I'm just super tired."

"That's okay." Klaus's mom reassured her. "We have a long flight ahead of us. I just might fall asleep too."

Anna didn't have time to reply because she already found herself drifting away to sleep.
