While Klaus was probably sitting at home doing nothing, Anna happened to be sitting in her bathroom staring at the little piece of plastic that would change their lives forever.

Her mom warned them to be careful and she thought they had been, but you can never be too careful.

Oh gosh, what am I going to do? This can't be happening, not when Klaus's mind is on something more important and this news could possibly make things worse for him. She got up from off of the toilet seat and began pacing around the bathroom. Should I call Klaus and tell him? No, maybe I should let my mom know first so she tell me what to do. But that could make things worse too. Klaus needed to know first before anyone else.

That's why she found herself staring down at her phone debating whether or not she wanted to put this type of pressure on him

That's why she found herself staring down at her phone debating whether or not she wanted to put this type of pressure on him. They both knew that he didn't have long and that worried her because she knew that she was going to have to raise the baby on her own.

"Hey baby?" Klaus said into the phone when Anna finally found the guts to call him. How ironic of you to call me that since we're going to have one soon.

"Klaus..." Anna found herself at a loss for words.

"What's wrong?" Klaus immediately picked up on her distress. "Baby, tell me what's wrong."

"I... you're going to be a dad." Anna rushed out, knowing that if she didn't, she wasn't going to tell him at all.

Klaus fell silent and for the first time since she met him, that worried her. When the call ended, Anna didn't know whether to call him back in case it was a call drop or just act like the call never happened. She had a feeling the call dropping was intentional.

"Hey, you okay?" Anna's mom asked when she finally left her room an hour later. "Were you crying?"

"Mom, we need to talk."

"What about?" She asked closing the door behind her. Her eyes then looked down at Anna's hands when she noticed something in them. "Oh please tell me you're joking right now."

"I'm not." Anna shook her head. "I've been feeling off for a while now, but I never thought that this would be the reason for it."

"I thought that you guys said you were being careful."

"We were!" Anna insisted. "Well at least I thought that we were!" Anna hadn't realized that she had gotten off of her bed and began pacing around her bedroom.

"Well have you told Klaus yet?" Anna's mom asked her, taking Anna's spot on the bed.

"I called him earlier and he hung up on me." Anna's voice broke. She found herself with her hand on her stomach hating the fact that she was stuck in this situation. "He doesn't want the baby."

"Oh honey, I don't think that's it." Anna's mom tried to reason with her. "You have to understand what he's going through is too much for him already. And this, this is going to make things worse. Give him time and if he doesn't come around, don't worry about it because you have me to help you. I won't let you do this on your own."
