"How long do we have?" Anna asked Klaus an hour later while seated at a park bench.

Klaus didn't look over at her, completely unaware of what she meant by that. "We don't have a time to get back to my dad's. We can stay out and do whatever you want for as long as you'd like."

"That's not what I meant." Anna said, causing Klaus to look over at her. "How long do we have until I lose you?"

"Anna..." Klaus said, reaching over to grab her hands in his. "Lets not think of that right now."

"Why not?" Anna insisted. "I mean, I'd like to know when the love of my life will no longer be with me."

"I'll always be with you." Klaus said, dropping her hands. He replaced her hands with her cheeks and leaned in, planting a sweet kiss on her lips. "Don't ever forget that."

"I'm sorry." Anna said wiping the tears that she was unaware were falling out of her eyes. "I'm just scared."

"So am I, but I don't let it get to me." Klaus told her. "You've taught me not to let things get to me Anna. Maybe try taking your own advice for once. For me, just the comfort and support that you give me on an every day basis has helped me so much these past few months on not giving up when I've wanted so many times to."

She leaned over and placed her head on his shoulder. They both sat there in silence for what felt like hours, but ended up only being minutes. Anna knew that her answers weren't going to be answered tonight and she had to live with it. She didn't need to know everything because if she did, it would end up breaking her.

When it started to get too cold, Klaus turned to Anna and said, "Maybe we should head back."

"I guess you're right." Anna said wiping her runny nose.

When they got back to his place, Anna went straight to his room. All of a sudden, she felt extremely exhausted. She wasn't sure if it was because of the plane ride or if Klaus had something to do with it.

"You okay?" Klaus asked Anna half an hour later after speaking with his mom.

"I am." Anna said with her eyes still closed. She was trying her very best to fall asleep so that she could forget about everything Klaus. Maybe she'd end up waking up in the morning from this horrible nightmare where her lover was dying and she couldn't do anything to stop it.

"You're not." Klaus said reading right through her lie. "I don't know what to do to make you feel better about this."

"You shouldn't be making me feel better Klaus, I should be the one doing that for you." Anna sighed.

"I'm the guy in this relationship and whether not I should be the one being comforted or the one doing the comforting, I'm forced to do the latter no matter what." Klaus said snuggling into her after turning the lights off. The room was now filled with complete darkness and Anna looked over at the bedside alarm clock that read 2:39 AM. "I'm exhausted Anna and I know you are too. Lets just go to bed and maybe if you're feeling better in the morning, you can accompany me for breakfast with the Fischer family."

Oh boy.
