I got up before everyone else. Debby was suppose to get here in about an hour which gave me about thirty minutes before Josh and Jenna would get up. I went to the kitchen and made coffee for everyone, as well as hot chocolate. I sat out four mugs and hooked up my phone to the speaker, playing Christmas music quietly through it. I put on my black and red plaid pajama pants last night to wear today, and threw on a black t-shirt this morning. I finished making the hot chocolate and turned down the temperature on the stove so it would stay warm. I found some peppermint sticks and laid them beside the mugs incase anyone wanted one in their hot chocolate. Then waited for everyone to get up.
Fifteen minutes passed and still no Jenna or Josh, but I heard a knock on the door. I opened the front door to be greeted with a familiar face, "Good morning, Ty." Debby smiled at me.
"Good morning." I moved and allowed her to come in.
"It smells amazing in here."
"Hot chocolate and coffee in the kitchen." I clarified, "Help yourself to some."
"Thanks." She grinned, "Good morning, Josh." We entered the living room at the same time that Josh was leaving his room, sleepily.
"Good morning." He yawned and twiddled with his hair.
"How'd you sleep?" Debby asked and they got lost in their own conversation as they made their way to the kitchen.
"Good morning." I heard Jenna's sweet voice sing.
"Good morning, love." I turned to face her. "Hot chocolate in the kitchen since you can't have coffee. I also boiled water in case you wanted tea."
"Thank you, sweet."
"No problem." We walked into the kitchen where Josh was sat with coffee and Debby with hot chocolate. Jenna poured some hot chocolate as well and I took coffee.
"So all the Christmas decorations are in the basement." Jenna started, "I can't carry anything up the stairs so if you boys wouldn't mind bringing it up here then we can all decorate."
"I don't mind to help bring things up." Debby offered.
"I think we can get it. You hangout with Jenna." Josh told her.
"Okay, but if you need any help, just yell."
"We will." Me and Josh got up and headed downstairs.
Jenna was a very organized person, so all the Christmas decorations were in one corner together. We started with the small boxes and totes, then both carried up the tree. When we got it upstairs, the girls had already started setting out the smaller things like the nutcrackers and such.
"Where do you want the tree, Jen?" Josh asked.
"Right in that corner," she pointed right next to us.
"Awesome." We both unloaded and stacked the tree.
"Okay," Jenna sighed and sat down on the couch, "break?"
"Yes." Josh laid down, head in her lap.
"Hey that's my spot." I laughed.
"Here Tyler." Debby day on the other couch and I laid my head in her lap.
"Thanks Debby. You're my only real friend." I glared and Jenna and Josh who were laughing at us.
"So what do you guys want for lunch?" Jenna asked. We discussed a few options, but then decided on me and Josh running out to grab some burgers and fries for everyone.
We returned home and saw that the girls had worked a little more on everything except the tree. We turned on Elf, one of our favorite Christmas movies, and ate our lunch.
