I walk into class 1-A, looking around for a seat. Of course I'm the last one, and there's only one seat left. I sigh and sit down. At least I beat the teacher.
"So, what's your name?" The boy in front of me with annoyingly green hair turns around to question me.
"Why does it matter?" I ask, rolling my eyes.
"Well, we're classmates, aren't we? That means we'll have to work together at some point." I sigh, hating how right he is.
"Takusan Kyarakuta."
"What?" He cocks his head, confused for some odd reason.
"My name. It's Takusan Kyarakuta."
"Oh. Right." He brings his hand up to the back of his head, clearly embarrassed. "I'm Iz-"
"Shut up and sit down." The boy nearly jumps out of his seat in fear. He turns around, shaking slightly. How did he make it here? His quirk must be amazing.... The teacher crawls out of his slug-like sleeping bag, standing up in front of the class. "It took you eight seconds to stop talking. That's not going to work." I like him. "Hello, I'm Shota Aizawa. Your teacher." The whole class gasps as if that's surprising. "Right, let's get to it. Put these on and head outside." He pulls a uniform out of his sleeping bag. I wonder what all he keeps in there? I shrug, standing up and following the rest to the locker rooms.
I stay in the back, still wary of their quirks. I never know when they might use them, and I can't be overwhelmed on the first day of school. I just have to slowly gain their quirks, one at a time, preferably. I already have Bakugo's, and if the rest are like him, it'll be easy. I doubt they're anything like him, but I'll deal with that when I deal with it. We all change into our gym uniforms, walking outside so Aizawa can explain what we're doing.
"We're having a quirk assessment test."
"A quirk assessment test?" The whole class askes as if they're all deaf or something.
"But we'll miss orientation!" A girl in the front protests. Who ever cares about orientation? Jeez.
"That's a pointless ceremony." Once again, I agree with the man. We're going to get along well, I can feel it. "Here at UA, we aren't tethered to traditions. That means I get to run my class however I feel like." The class steps back, confused and surprised. "You had standardized tests all of the time, but you never got to use your quirks. The country is trying to pretend we're all equal by not letting those with more power excel. It's not rational. One day, they'll learn." We stand in silence for a moment, allowing that to sink in. "Bakugo. You did the best at the entrance exam. What was your best throw in Junior High?"
"67 meters, I think," Bakugo replies smugly.
"Right. Try doing it with your quirk." Bakugo straightens up, clearly excited to blow all these weaklings away with his power. He steps into the circle. "Anything goes, just stay in the circle." Bakugo stretches his arms, preparing for the throw.
"All right man, you asked for it." He winds up, making an explosion with his quirk and sending the ball flying into the air.
"All of you need to know your quirk's full potential." Aizawa holds up his measuring device, the number reads 705 meters. Everyone gets excited, which clearly annoys our teacher. "So, this looks like fun, huh? You have three years to become a hero. You think it's all going to be fun and games? Idiots." He smirks menacingly at the class's expressions. "Today you'll compete in eight physical tests to gauge your potential. Whoever comes in last has no potential, and will be expelled." Everyone gasps, seemingly very worried. They shouldn't be here if they're worried about something as small as this.
"You can't send us home! We just got here! That isn't fair!" Oh, this poor, innocent child. He's explained it already; he can do what he wants.
"And you think natural disasters are?" That's a stretch, but okay. "Or villainous monsters? Or events that wipe whole cities? No. The world is full of unfairness. It's a hero's job to combat that unfairness. If you want to be a hero you're going to have to push yourself to the limit. For the next three years, UA will throw one terrible hardship after another at you. So go beyond. Plus Ultra style. Show me it's no mistake that you're here." Everyone gets a determined look on their face, ready after his inspirational speech. "Now, let's begin."

This chapter was going to be longer but I decided to split it into three chapters because it was way too long. Bare with me here. XD
