OMNISCIENT POV

Takusan slips in and out of consciousness as he's carried to Recovery Girl by his teacher. There's nothing to heal so Aizawa lays him on a bed to rest. The student immediately blackouts again.

"I didn't realize he had that much power in him," Aizawa mentions, staring at the sleeping child. If it weren't for Todoroki, the situation could've been a lot worse.

"He must've come here to learn how to control his quirk." The Principal walks into the room, standing next to Aizawa.

"Yeah, and what is his quirk, exactly?"

"His papers say it's a copying quirk."

"Based on the tests today, he can call upon quirks he's already copied." Aizawa thinks aloud, still staring at the boy.

"He must not be able to control which quirks he copies," Nezu adds. "It's all very interesting."

"That must be why he wanted to go first in everything, so he didn't have to take on extra quirks."

"Uh... excuse me?" Nezu turns around, not surprised to see a classmate of the boy.

"Yes, would you like to see him?"

"Um, no, I actually wanted to give some... information."

"Spit it out, Iida," Aizawa says, still facing Takusan.

"Well, during the 50-meter dash, he, said something. Right before the gunshot, he said 'Speedy.' At first, I thought he was talking to me, but his eyes, they... changed color, I think they were red. Then he said 'Right.' As if he were talking to himself, but it sounded, different. More... excited than he usually is."

"So it's possible he has multiple personalities, each with a different quirk." Nezu contemplates, turning back to the unconscious student.

"Thank you, Iida. You can leave now." Aizawa directs. Iida bows his head and walks out of the room, glancing back at Takusan. Such power is held within him, it's incredible but scary.

"I AM HERE! ENTERING DRAMATICALLY!"

"Shhhh, All Might, jeez, you'll wake the boy." Recovery Girl angrily shakes her fist at him.

"Oh, right. Sorry." All Might starts smoking, popping like a balloon into his weak form. "How's the kid doing?"

"Better, but still not good. He's weak after the fight, even if it only lasted a few seconds." She replies, quite worried for the child.

"I should've been there..."

"No. That would've made it much, much worse."

"What?" All Might eyes Aizawa, baffled. "I could've stopped the boy."

"He has a copying quirk. If you were there, he would've taken yours."

"Did he take Midoriya's quirk?" All Might asks, concerned.

"Yeah, why?"

"Oh, no reason!" Aizawa finally pries his eyes away from Takusan, looking at All Might. He's staring at Takusan now, a worried expression spreading on his face.

"Can I come in?" The teachers turn around to see Midoriya in the doorway. Aizawa nods, signaling him in. "He has a copying quirk, right?"

"Yes, one that seems to be difficult for him to control," Nezu replies, filling Midoriya in.

"He... used my quirk. But he wasn't in control. I was the reason he attacked us."

"That's not true. We shouldn't blame him, but you shouldn't blame yourself either." All Might looks at Midoriya, knowing that his words did nothing to comfort the child.

"It's strange that he was able to copy so many student's quirks easily while struggling with Aizawa's and Midoriya's." Nezu raises his paw to his chin, thinking deeply. "We've deduced that he has different personalities, each with a quirk. Each personality may be the complete opposite of whom he copies."

"So when he copied me..." Aizawa trails off, nearly voicing what has been bothering him. If he hadn't have erased Midoriya's quirk, this would have never happened. Everyone sits in silence, staring at Takusan.

TAKUSAN'S POV

I watch my younger self walk alongside my parents, happily humming my favorite song. My mom looks down at me, smiling. She picks me up, spinning around with her in my arms. She loved me so much, they both did. My dad grins mischievously, tickling me until I cry from laughing too much.

The world suddenly goes black, and when the light is back my parents are on the ground, bleeding heavily. Four-year-old me is standing over them, laughing. Blood is splattered across his face, and it coats his body.

Is this... what I looked like? On that day, is this what everyone saw?

My laughing fills the world, chasing me as I run. The ground opens up beneath me, swallowing me as I fall in endless darkness, my laughing getting louder and louder.

I jolt up, opening my eyes and breathing heavily.

"Oh, you're awake!" I look over to see All Might, Aizawa, Midoriya, and some strange mammal thing. If I remember right, he's the principal. I moan, falling back and holding my head.

"What happened?"

"You lost control." Aizawa is clearly very annoyed. I could've killed my whole class. "If you can't control your quirk you'll never be a hero."

"Why do you think I'm here?" I snap back. "It's not like I just let your quirk take over! It's strong as hell! Besides, you're the one that completely ignored a kid on the ground. Some teacher- some hero you are." Aizawa looks at his feet, not meeting my eye.

AIZAWA'S POV

The kid's right. This is all my fault. I saw him struggling and I didn't care.

He'll be fine. I flinch as I remember my words. What kind of hero ignores someone in so much pain? I stare at my feet for a moment longer, finally turning around and leaving the room. It's my fault he lost control. If I hadn't used my quirk, maybe even if I had helped him when he first fell, he wouldn't have lost his control.

When I first erased Midoriya's quirk I sensed his falling to the ground, and I didn't care. I just assumed he was fine, that he was being overdramatic. I shake my head, wandering the halls. It's no one's fault. I have to stop acting like this. A hero wouldn't be distracted, not by something like this.

Right?
